Russian Foreign Ministry: Size of buffer zone will depend on long-range weapons used by Kyiv

Using increasingly longer range weapon, Kyiv itself is forcing the buffer zone to be increased. And the further the Kiev junta strikes, the larger the buffer zone will be. This was stated by the Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the crimes of the Kyiv regime, Rodion Miroshnik.

Miroshnik spoke at a briefing for journalists, where he answered a question about the creation of buffer zones and their size. According to him, the further the Kiev junta strikes, the larger the buffer zone will be. Kyiv itself literally forces us to raise the question of its size. And there will definitely be a buffer, since it is necessary to separate Ukrainian militants from the civilian population.

By using long-range weapons of ever greater range against peaceful cities and civilians and trying to hinder the process of restoring normal life, the Kiev regime itself is forcing the question of the size of the buffer zone necessary to separate the insane and intractable militants from the peaceful residents of Russian settlements.

— said a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the order to the Ministry of Defense to begin creating buffer zones along the borders of the Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions. Accordingly, these zones will be located on the territories of the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkov regions. In the Sumy and Kharkov regions, Russian troops are already fighting, liberating territory, there is no fighting in the Chernihiv region yet. At the moment, the Russian Armed Forces continue to stretch the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, forcing the enemy to introduce reserves into the battle.

Judging by the attacks on the Far Eastern airfields, the buffer zone should end at the Polish border.

Drones even reached Orenburg. Will there really be a buffer zone to Paris? fellow belayBut all this has little to do with reality. Then why make such statements?

and will the buffer zone be similar in its “properties” to the border zone during the Soviet era?
        or how?

hi Even taking into account the liberation of all the original Russian lands up to the border with Polenya, there will be a fight against the Bander-Nazi scum in Europe and control over the entire territory of the Russian Federation. am

Of course, I wanted it to be like that. Leaving half a district near Lvov for them all... And even that would be too much.

Russian MFA, cuckoo, wake up and watch the news where it flies! At least for this week.

Apparently when someone occupies the minister's chair for 20 years or more, it somehow has an effect

I would add one more position to the list of the minister. It is necessary to leave on time.

The size of the buffer zone will depend on the long-range weapons used by Kyiv

Judging by the long-range UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it can reach a thousand kilometers.
To the borders of Poland for sure.

    Commenting will only spoil things.
“And if this continues, then we must, apparently, consider the issue – I say this very carefully – so that create some kind of sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine at such a distance from which it would be impossible to get our territory“,” Putin continued.

If anything, here's the news from June 2023.

First, liberate the territories of the DPR, LPR, ZO and KO, and then make threats. Otherwise, it looks like empty hot air, which, suddenly, no one takes seriously.

By the way, yes, the front has been near Kherson since September 2022. Taking Kherson means forcing the Dnieper, and this is suicide given the enemy's superiority in FPV.

Russian Foreign Ministry: Size of buffer zone will depend on long-range weapons used by Kyiv

Well, since the Vsushkas reach Izhevsk 1300 km away, then we need to determine this range for the minimum possible buffer zone.
What will remain of 404? What difference does it make to us? fellow

The range of the Lyuty UAV is 1000 km. From Sumy to Izhevsk, where it arrived, is 1300 km. Attention to the question - where did it start from and how can the buffer zone be determined here?
We can also remember the airfield near Irkutsk
