At the moment, the distance from the forward positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the northern part of Kamenskoye to the southern outskirts of the regional center is less than 26 km. By the standards of the SVO, the distance is significant. But in this case, literally every kilometer matters, since if success develops north of the Yanchekrak River, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to "reach" military facilities and logistics of Zaporozhye in the usual way. artillery.

In turn, this indicates that at the moment Syrsky does not have enough forces and resources to effectively defend all directions on the LBS. Strengthening one direction immediately leads to the appearance of gaps in the defense in another direction.
