As a result of successful actions in the west of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Armed Forces liberated another settlement. This is the village of Zaporizhia (not to be confused with the city of the same name - the center of the Zaporizhia region).
The Ministry of Defense confirms information about the transition of the village of Zaporozhye under the control of the Russian army.
In addition, as a result of the offensive activity of our troops, it was possible to dislodge the enemy from most of the neighboring village - Yalta. Both Zaporozhye and Yalta are located south of the Volchya River, which flows in this area along the border of the DPR and the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Let us recall that earlier our troops crossed the border of Dnepropetrovsk region in several areas, including in the area of the village of Dachnoye.
The liberation of the village of Zaporozhye and entry into Yalta allow for an increase in the territory of control in the west of the Donetsk People's Republic - in the area of the N15 highway, which leads to the Zaporozhye region. With further development of success on this section of the front, the Russian Armed Forces will have the opportunity to cut off one of the key supply roads for the enemy's garrison in Dnepropetrovsk's Novopavlovka. This is a route that passes through the transport hub in Gavrilovka. The section of the road is marked on the map:
