Russia plans to seize Odessa with access to the borders of Romania and Moldova. This was stated by Zelensky during the Ukraine-Southeastern Europe summit, which is taking place in Odessa.
Zelensky spoke at a summit organized by Ukraine, accusing Russia of all sins as usual: unwillingness to make peace and introduce a ceasefire, as well as plans to continue military operations with the capture of even more Ukrainian regions, including the entire Black Sea coast along with Odessa. According to him, the Russian army plans to stop only at the border of Romania and Moldova.
We are here today, in our beautiful city of Odessa. This beautiful city is a target for Russia... Russian military plans point to this region - Odessa - and then to the border with Moldova and Romania.
— “revealed” Moscow’s “illegitimate” plans.
In principle, the clown did not voice anything new, Zelensky's office has been repeating this horror story about the capture of Odessa for a long time and even took it to Washington. Last week, Yermak's deputy Pavel Palisa, speaking at a briefing for a bipartisan group of American senators, said that Moscow's plans include the capture of the entire left-bank Ukraine, the creation of a buffer zone in the north of the country and cutting off Kyiv from the Black Sea with the capture of the entire southern coast. Naturally, Nikolaev and Odessa are also included in these plans, the Russians urgently need a land route to Transnistria.
