Russian Knights in Malaysia

12
After the LIMA air show on the island of Langkawi, there are a lot of photos left that you cannot fit in one post.
First, a photo report about our handsome men - the Russian Knights aerobatic team, who turned 22 of the year yesterday.

This is the first performance of “Russian Knights” in Malaysia after the sad events of December 1995, when, returning from an air show, three fighters collided with a mountain near Cam Ranh. Then four pilots died.
I did not want to start the report with a reminder of sad events, but in no case should we forget about them.

Almost 9 in the morning, ours are covered for the time being, and only five Malaysian MiGs-29 stand with their lamps already open. Smoking gangsters could not fly every day, like us. They say they flew on the opening day, but I missed it, and on the second day they were not given a departure.

Pilatuses of the Indonesian group Jupiter Aerobatic team and kids of Extra-300L Royal Malaysian Air Force are sleeping.

Fighters flew to the exhibition from Kubinka near Moscow via Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chinese Taiyuan and Vietnamese Hanoi.

The first vehicles to come and prepare cars for departure. I have a few minutes to shoot around the planes - Malaysian exhibition curators will soon drive up and drive all outsiders to the fence.

A bag lying on the pavement is not yet loaded with a drag parachute.

Fill it here:

So the parachute is released when landing

And in this form, taxied to the parking lot. The parachute itself is unhooked from the plane even on the runway and immediately picked up by technology.

Case with a stripe and a long rope wrapped in a bun. By the way, why so long?

All the ladders and other equipment arrived at the IL-76

Here it is, by the way. Under the wing several spotters are hiding in the shadows. As you can see, there are no fences between statics and runway. They won't be on the public day either, but every few meters on the grass there will be harsh guys with machine guns.

And at the weekend all the equipment will be fenced off from sin. I personally saw how one visitor, unattended, a light plane, left open and fiercely photographed inside.

Five Su-27 flew to Malaysia, of which two Sparky - number 20 (Alekseev) and 24. Three sides numbered 08, 10 and 16.

What are the details of the aircraft to shoot next time?

I take everything from my point of view - so beautiful.

Demonstration flights usually began around half of the first and on the second and third days, “Vityaz” was given a start in 13: 10 and in 13: 18.
On the fourth and fifth day of the air show, the flight program took place in the morning and after lunch, the Su-27 flew only in the second part.

Before the flight, each pilot inspects the aircraft.

In turn Drying sent in the direction of the URV.

All technicians line up in a row, each in front of his plane.

Before the executive planes once again inspect. Over there you see a technique that melts in the 35-degree heat. In the plane, by the way, not colder.

Get ready!

Let's go!

In the center at the park No. XXUMX, Andrei Alekseev (co-pilot Andrei Yuminov), he is the commander of the group, a lieutenant colonel, a military pilot of the 20 class.

He was born on May 23, 1973 in the city of Wittstock (GDR). In 1995 he graduated from the Kachinsky higher military aviation School of Pilots named after A.F. Myasnikov. He served as a pilot instructor at the Borisoglebsky center for retraining flight personnel. Since 1998 he has been serving at the Cuban Air Base. Flew on the types of Yak-52, L-39, Mig-29, Su-27 for 1200 hours. He has been engaged in aerobatics since 2001. Performs flights as a master, as well as external, internal and tail slaves.
Married Raises a son and two daughters. He spends his free time with his family. He is fond of skiing and cars.

Pass with the released chassis.

Russian Knights in Malaysia

All attention to the sky

Five more pilots work today in the group: Oleg Yerofeyev, Sergey Shcheglov, Alexander Bogdan, Denis Plaksin and Yury Limarenko.

Why does one smoke more?

I like to make such pictures - as if from somewhere on top I take pictures. Focal length 800 mm.

Su-27, in my opinion, enjoyed the greatest popularity among viewers

Humid air forms clouds at high angles of attack.

After the passes of the five, one plane is separated and the four turns the barrel, passes a close lozenge. Then it blooms beautifully.

And during the dissolution of the four, such a picture is caught

Then there are three oncoming aerobatics, a solo show, then the four reunite and again dissolve high in the sky. At this moment, shooting heat traps looks particularly impressive, but in Malaysia they were not allowed to do it. Let's wait for April 19 in Kubinka.

Dissolution in cloudy weather.

Dragged behind a cloud.

By the way, a relatively new element of the program - Drying in the background slowly passes with the "bell" figure (correct if I am mistaken), and a foursome rushes past at high speed.

Commander among the palm trees

This time the plane against the backdrop of the sun never got to catch it.

Taxiing after landing.

Give a hug to you, my friend!

Alekseev and Yuminov were given a carriage ladder.

Alexander Bogdan signs the flight task.

At the end of the flight a short discussion of how to work.

Of News:
During the exhibition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force announced that Russian pilots from Kubinka near Moscow will gradually be transplanted to new modern aircraft - the multi-purpose Su-35 and training Yak-130.
The aerobatic team welcomes the idea of creating a separate group at the Yak-130 training, one of the pilots said at a press conference.
"We welcome the creation of a separate aerobatic team, but in general this question is for the command. The Yak-130 is a new and very promising training and training machine," said the pilot.

While the pilots are discussing the last performance (there they are in the background), the technicians set to work.

There is a defroster, and there is a defroster - water.

Mandatory photo session with fans after each performance. These are members of the Russian delegation, and foreign pilots, and spectators who are lucky to get closer.

Guard major Yuri Limarenko.

Guard Lieutenant Colonel, Pilot-Pilot Squadron, military pilot 1 class Sergey Shcheglov.
Since 1995, the 700 has a total flight time of hours on L-39, MiG-29, Su-27, Yak-52

Guard lieutenant colonel, flight commander, military pilot 1 class Alexander Bogdan.

Since 2001, 1050 has a total raid of hours on L-39, Su-27

Andrei Alekseev with a word of thanks to all participants.

On the last day of the airshow after the performance of the technique, the Russian flag was flown.

Now go home.

Seryog, lay out somewhere? Or is it a home video for private viewing?

Pay attention to wet overalls - for 20 minutes of performance in the heat and almost 100% humidity.

The base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of all citizens of the Russian Federation on this site twitlink.ws/baza and the main thing was done as if to search for lost relatives, but here is all the information about each of us: correspondence with friends, addresses, phones, place of work, and the worst thing is even mine nudity photo (though I do not know from where ...). In general, I was very scared - but there is such a function as "hide data" of course I used it and I advise everyone not to hesitate, you never know

I watched live as they fly. The spectacle is amazing; in my childhood I also dreamed of becoming a pilot.

Also in childhood there was a great desire and health as it was not enough, and then life itself turned in the opposite direction. Here is the current at an air show and at neighboring airfields and it is possible to get close to the planes to see ...
