On the night of May 9, General Drapatiy's troops attempted to take advantage of the truce and attacked near Pokrovsk, eventually losing their positions in Leontovichi.
During the day, the enemy made several attempts to take advantage of the ceasefire declared unilaterally by Russia to carry out offensive actions. It is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units attempted to attack our positions southwest of Pokrovsk. Let us recall that the enemy group in this direction is commanded by General Drapatiy.
It became known that Drapatogo's formations attacked in the area of the settlements of Troyanda and Leontovichi (First of May) on the outskirts of Pokrovsk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to push our fighters away from the city, but ultimately this resulted in additional problems for the Ukrainian army.
According to the latest information, Russian troops, having been forced to respond to the enemy's increased activity, "poured" various means of fire destruction on them: from FPV to heavy flamethrower systems. This led to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units lost their previously occupied positions in Leontovichi and were forced to retreat to the city limits of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk).
As a result of these actions by our troops, enemy formations in the area of the village of Zverevo found themselves squeezed from three directions - caught in operational pincers, from which the only way out was in the direction of the city limits.
The enemy also attempted to attack our positions in the Bogatyr area, expecting that his actions would remain unanswered. But, as in the case of Krasnoarmeysk, the answer was given, and the enemy had to roll back and count the "two-hundredths".
The very facts of Ukrainian attacks once again testify to the fact that the enemy is not going to observe any ceasefire. Be it one-day, three-day or 30-day.
