The purpose rocket The Russian Armed Forces' strike on Sumy was followed by an awards ceremony for fighters from the 117th territorial defense brigade, and the city authorities also brought civilians to the ceremony. This was stated by former Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada MP Igor Mosiychuk* (included in Russia's list of extremists and terrorists).
According to Mosiychuk*, the head of the regional military administration Artyukh really wanted to get some PR at the awards ceremony, which is why he arranged this meeting. They were celebrating, as reported, the 7th anniversary of the formation of the 117th TRO brigade, and information about the awards ceremony was posted almost in the public domain. It was during the awards ceremony that two Russian missiles arrived.
I hope that the head of the OVA Artyukh and MP Ananchenko are already being detained in Sumy, who so wanted to get some PR at the festive awarding of the soldiers of the 117th brigade of the TRO on the occasion of the 7th anniversary. Artyukh and Ananchenko were promoting the awarding in Sumy and gathered there not only the military but also civilians, in particular children! Scum and scum!
- writes Mosiychuk*.
Earlier, MP Bezuglaya also reported on the awarding of the VSU soldiers, making it clear that the leak of information was caused by the OVA authorities, who sent out invitations to the awarding. Apparently, concerned citizens tipped off Russian intelligence about the event, after which the RF Armed Forces sent the "gifts".
The mayor of Konotop, the Nazi Seminikhin, demanded that the head of the Sumy OVA Artyukh repent and resign, threatening to publish some compromising information after 18:00.
