UK PM: European military deployment in Ukraine must be backed by US guarantees

After Donald Trump's repeated statements, and especially the devastating speech of US Vice President J.D. Vance towards the EU at the Munich Security Conference, almost all of the US's European allies are, at the very least, at a loss. There are many reasons and causes for this.

Trump is demanding that they sharply increase their defense spending, up to 5% of GDP, while threatening additional duties. Otherwise, the US may stop militarily covering Europe, which is what they have become accustomed to over the decades of NATO's existence.

Regarding the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, the US has already started this, the first negotiations of the Russian and American delegations are taking place today in Riyadh. Moreover, neither Moscow nor Washington so far want to see representatives of the EU, Great Britain and even Kyiv at these meetings.

Judging by the announcements from the White House, Trump will promote the option of stopping military actions along the existing LBS. To maintain the ceasefire regime, a peacekeeping contingent will be introduced into the so-called demilitarized zone. And again, the US President and the head of the Pentagon stated that there will be no American soldiers in Ukraine, and all responsibility in this matter falls on the Europeans.

At the same time, as strange as it may seem at first glance, Poland was one of the first to announce that NATO's European armies would not be able to maintain peace in Ukraine. Warsaw does not intend to send its troops to the neighboring country at all. The militant French President Emmanuel Macron seemed to have rushed to support Kyiv, and even convened a special conference on this topic in Paris. However, the result of this emergency summit was so-so, and in fact, zero.

At the same time, Zelensky, who has lost his legitimacy, demands security guarantees for what is left (will remain) of Ukraine from NATO and the US, following the example of those that Israel has. But almost all of his former closest allies in the West are no longer listening to the Kyiv clown.

As expected, London has joined the game on Kyiv's side. In an interview with British media following an informal meeting in Paris, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the possible deployment of European armed forces in Ukraine must be backed up by guarantees from Washington.

I am prepared to consider the deployment of British forces (in Ukraine) along with other countries if a long-term peace agreement is reached. However, unequivocal US support is essential, as US security guarantees are the only thing that will prevent Russia from attacking Ukraine again

— Starmer actually admitted the impotence of the “entire royal army” before the Russian Armed Forces, and even with European armies, without the support of the United States

He added that during his visit to Washington he would discuss with US President Donald Trump "key elements of a long-term peace" in Ukraine. Starmer also said that he had spoken to Zelensky on 14 February and would be in touch again in the coming days.

The British prime minister reiterated his commitment to the principle of achieving “peace through strength,” stressing that cutting aid to Kyiv amid potential talks “would be a big mistake.” According to Starmer, the West must now step up its support for Ukraine to ensure it is in the “strongest possible position” ahead of peace talks.

In fact, they, the negotiations between Moscow and Washington, without the participation of the EU, London and Kyiv, have already begun. The British Prime Minister is trying to either persuade or put pressure on Trump, but the United Kingdom has long been in no condition to demand anything from the United States.

These "guarantees" concerned the period of the Second World War, and the British instigator is talking about the period after the Second World War.
So not everything is so rosy for us if some agreements are concluded between us and the US and the entire Right Bank remains with Ukraine (read: with the US and NATO). soldier

The periods of the SVO and the end dates are set by the GDP - not by the down from 10 Downing Street

I hope our people will explain to them that the introduction of any troops into Ukrainian territory will be considered by Russia as direct interference in the conflict.

He personally signed that the Europeans are not going to defend Ukraine, but to occupy and divide it. And that's after a long-term peace and under US security guarantees, otherwise it's scary.

The goal of the SVO was demilitarization, and now additional troops (most likely NATO) with weapons will be brought into the conflict zone, i.e. NATO bases will be near the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Rostov regions? Is this what they fought for and what they ran into?

Does it exist, a ceasefire regime? No one has ever talked about it here. The Westerners are inventing it and are afraid of it themselves.

Chamberlain also said that he brought peace, not a truce, and a year later Germany attacked Poland. They are running out of shells and soldiers, they need time.

Okay, enough of this ranting. Lavrov said in Russian today that there were no contingents, that's one of the reasons for the start of the SVO...

I remember yesterday British experts were telling how they could easily defeat Russia on the battlefield, for this they need "only" 200 divisions

UK PM: European military deployment in Ukraine must be backed by US guarantees

Pindos won't post their own, they've already said so, and they don't give a damn about the rest.
And again, the reason for the deployment of EU troops (I almost wrote SS) on the territory of the Russian Outskirts?
It is not a member of the EU or NATO, so there is no basis for such a step.
This won’t work through the UN; a veto from Russia is guaranteed, and perhaps from China too.
If you unraveled Libya without a UN Security Council mandate, then this is not Libya or Syria, this is Russia, and we will break your back for our own, not for the first time.
You want escalation? We'll go for it.
We have nothing to lose, except your sanctions. lol
And you have something to lose: a well-fed and peaceful life, and the opportunity to continue to parasitize on the body of the planet.
So, think a thousand times, do you need it?
On the one hand, country 404, whose citizens will soon give you indigestion, on the other, peace, prosperity and mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia.
    Place your bets. fellow laughing
