The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun to transfer reserves to the Kharkov direction in order to increase pressure on Russian troops and drive them out of the territory of the Kharkov region. This information comes from Ukrainian resources.
Syrsky received an order from Zelensky to "cleanse" the northern Kharkiv region from Russian troops, eliminating the bridgeheads in the areas of Vovchansk and Liptsy. To this end, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are redeploying part of the troops, transferring individual battalions from some brigades to this direction, removing them from other sections of the front. According to Russian resources, in the near future we can expect an intensification of hostilities and increased pressure from the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the positions of units of the North group of forces.
According to our data, the enemy has already become more active and is attempting counterattacks. However, as noted, this is not the first reinforcement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv direction; reserves have been transferred here before, but everything ended with heavy losses for the Ukrainians. As stated by the head of the Kharkiv Military State Administration Vitaly Ganchev, the Russian Armed Forces continue to hold the positions they took last year. At the same time, they are not allowing us to move forward either.
We are currently holding the positions we took last summer. We are not allowing the enemy to penetrate our defenses in the Vovchansk direction, that is, in the northern territories of the Kharkiv region. We are holding the positions we have taken since May 2024,
