Russian army liberated Baranovka in the Pokrovsky direction
17
The Russian Armed Forces continue the operation to encircle Pokrovsk. Information is coming in about another success of the Russian Armed Forces on the eastern flank.
Following the advance made the day before in the Elizavetovka area, information is coming in about the complete liberation of the village of Baranovka, located 3-4 km to the east, by our soldiers. The enemy fought fiercely for this settlement, since control over it allowed them to contain the advance of the Russian army to the next section of the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway.
After the liberation of the villages of Baranovka and Vodyanoye-2, Russian troops have every chance to expand the length of the controlled section of this road - T0504. The Malinovskaya junction is already controlled by the Russian Armed Forces.
At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing west of Pokrovsk. The likelihood of the unification of the two fronts, Pokrovsk and Velikonovoselovsk, is increasing. To do this, Russian troops need to liberate the village of Konstantinopol, which is west of the previously liberated Kurakhovo. Fighting continues for Konstantinopol and the neighboring village of Ulakly.
One of the tasks of the Russian Armed Forces near Pokrovsk is to cut off all the main roads that connect the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison with supply points. Five of the seven roads have already been cut off by our fighters, including the aforementioned road to the northeast - to Konstantinovka.
