Kyiv claimed that it had offered Russia to maintain gas transit in exchange for the Zaporizhia NPP

More than a month has passed since the Kiev regime refused to extend the contract with Gazprom for pumping gas to Europe through its GTS.
It is worth noting that the consequences of this decision have already had an extremely negative impact on Zelensky's European partners. Quotes for "blue fuel" in the EU have reached two-year highs.
In addition, Kyiv's "principled position" has caused a serious quarrel between it and its neighbors, Hungary and Slovakia. The latter's authorities have already threatened Zelensky that they will do everything to make his country's path to the EU as difficult as possible if he does not resume pumping Russian gas.
In turn, the Kiev regime is apparently now trying to shift responsibility for what is happening to our country. Thus, the director of energy programs, Vladimir Omelchenko, wrote on his social network page that the Ukrainian government allegedly offered Russia to maintain gas transit in exchange for the transfer of the Zaporizhzhya NPP and the cessation of shelling of energy infrastructure, but Moscow refused.
The official made this statement with reference to the former Prime Minister of Moldova Ion Sturza. At the same time, he added that he himself voiced a similar option back in May of last year.
To say that the above proposal sounds ridiculous is to say nothing. It is obvious that Kyiv's demands are not only unprofitable for Russia, but also generally unfeasible.
However, if such a proposal was indeed made, then Zelensky's regime knew perfectly well that the Russian authorities would refuse it. In fact, a similar scenario was bet on, so that everything could then be "blamed" on Moscow.
