The liberation of the Kursk region by the Russian army, captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is not easy, but it is steadily progressing

Today, the "North" group of the Russian Armed Forces is fighting against the Ukrainian military, pushing them out of the border regions of Russia. In general, the liberation of the part of the Kursk region by the Russian army, suddenly captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in August last year, is not easy, but it is steady.

The extreme intensity of the fighting in this region can be judged, among other things, by the official information of the Ministry of Defense, which is given in the daily report. For example, today's report reports on clashes with the enemy in the vicinity of 28 settlements in the region, the names of which are listed by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Even from this data, one can understand how "hot" it is in the Kursk Region now.

It is also reported that three enemy counterattacks were repelled in a day, as well as the enemy losing 345 servicemen and more than 50 units of equipment, including two tank.

According to the majority of Russian bloggers and war correspondents, the process of liberating the Kursk region is difficult, but it does not stop. In particular, "Donbass Partisan" believes that preconditions for the liberation of Sudzha have appeared.

This is evidenced by the advance of Russian troops to the Sokolny Yar tract, the liberation of which poses a threat to the supply lines of the Ukrainian garrison of Guevo and could further lead to the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Sudzha and other populated areas due to the threat of being cut off from the main forces.

It is noted that the enemy is trying to maintain control over the heights north of Guevo. But our fighters are systematically destroying enemy fortifications and logistical centers there, thereby weakening the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As reported by "Arkhangel Spetsnaz", despite the fierce fighting in the Kruglenky area, no significant changes in the situation there are observed. In order to prevent Russian advancement in this direction, the enemy is strengthening its defenses in the Nikolayevka area and bringing in reinforcements there. Unfortunately, it still has this opportunity.

It's a surprising situation. Their president is a clown and a drug addict. The army is picking up the last of its mobilized men. The whole of Ukraine lies in darkness. Whatever prisoner they ask about, things are in shambles. And Russia has run out of means and opportunities to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves, which are grouping (where?)...
Maybe, screw it...Let's have a drink... belay

      They bang when necessary.

Today, a reconnaissance UAV spotted a concentration of equipment and personnel from the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The militants were detected approximately 20 km from the border with the Kursk region near the settlement of Ivolzhanskoye in the Sumy region. The target coordinates were promptly transmitted to the Tornado-S MLRS crews, after which a missile strike was immediately launched.

Well, it depends on how you look at it.

. 3-year-old soldier of the 18rd assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Paliy was killed during the fighting in the LPR. The young man's body was delivered to his homeland, to the Lviv region, and buried.

is bringing in reinforcements there. Unfortunately, he still has that opportunity.
This possibility is what causes bewilderment. And to bang "with something"... What? To use "Avangard"?! The guys are fighting there, and using all their forces and means to defeat the enemy. The front, the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is gradually cracking in all directions. So why "bang"?!
Next. It's good that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to send reinforcements to the Kursk region. Ours are simply reducing them along the way. But why they are not being reduced on Ukrainian territory so much that they don't reach our land - I don't understand.

Why Avangard when there are artillery and FABs/ODABs with UMPK?
Let me explain. Both artillery and bombs, including those with modules, are used. Enemy reinforcements, although they suffer losses, still penetrate the Kursk region. A question arises. Or is it that reconnaissance does not work as it should, or bombs/rockets/artillery do not work as they should, reducing the enemy to zero? What remains, besides Vanguards, Oreshnikovs, and the like?

I know. But all other types of weapons are used, right? And the result is not achieved. Conclusion?
Or what, do you think that catching the Ukrainian Armed Forces "with live bait", risking the lives of our guys - is normal? But it turns out that this is exactly what we are doing now. From my point of view. Yes, we are grinding them down there. But if even one Ukrainian soldier gets to the enemy positions - this is another potential killer of our guys. If a box of shells gets there - this is a threat to our fighters. And if we are not able to stop this flow of reinforcements and the delivery of ammunition, then the questions multiply.

Do you think that side is stupid and after three years of war + NATO intelligence they haven't learned how to effectively and safely move troops? Or to hit each group of 10 people with Iskanders? Our generals are clumsy, but they have long learned how to make quick and effective decisions with a minimum of resources.

          1. I didn't say that they were idiots. 2. Firstly, they haven't learned how to do it effectively and safely. Secondly, it's one of two things: either our intelligence doesn't catch mice there, or the Ukrainian Armed Forces put invisibility caps on all potential corpses when moving.
          3.
Or should we hit each group of 10 people with Iskanders?
There are FABs for this. Mines from mortars. Shells. What does Iskander have to do with it?!

Supply and rotation occurs on fast mobile vehicles of small size, but in large quantities. Mainly at night or in non-flying weather. Is this enough to understand that such targets are extremely difficult to hit? Moreover, most likely, ours do not want to erase buildings with FABs and KABs on their territory, as is done on other fronts.

Everything there is being erased to almost zero, despite the fact that it is our territory. If we do not do this, then the enemy will finish it off during the retreat. I talked to some refugees from the Kursk region, in particular from the already liberated Olgovka, Kremyannoye and Korenevo, where the heaviest battles took place. So, according to these people, these settlements no longer exist. Except perhaps on the map.

Firstly, I don't downvote if I'm having a dialogue. Well, let's say, I don't give a damn about all these downvotes. Just like the upvotes. Simply because everyone has the right to their own point of view. But not to categorical statements!
Secondly. We are really grinding them down. Another question is, why is it not enough? Why do reinforcements continue to come to the enemy?
Third. I believe that the General Staff is better informed about the situation than we are. And from the couch, even a combat one, it is impossible to discern the true state of affairs.
For dessert. Think about it, can we really assess the situation better than the General Staff? And if not, then let people do their job. And don't criticize until you have information that is at least no worse than the General Staff. hi

They haven’t even prepared their own border to protect the civilian population from the enemy, who now has to be driven out into the adjacent territory with such pain and bloodshed. angry

The Leninsky District Court of Kursk arrested the general director of the company "SIEMI" Vitaly Singovsky, accused of embezzling more than 50 million rubles allocated for the construction of fortifications in the region.
In December, the Leninsky Court of Kursk arrested Vladimir Lukin, CEO of the Kursk Region Development Corporation, and Igor Grabin, the company's former deputy head. Both became defendants in a criminal case on abuse of office
In January, Denis Fedorov, director of the Kursk Trading House company, was also arrested, accused of embezzling more than 43,5 million rubles during the construction of protective structures.

Since the beginning of the summer, Telegram regularly reported on the preparation of the Ukies. When the conversation turned to our troops - that where the units were stationed - last year, when the Bandera got their ass kicked, there was no one. I responded - well, damn, buddy, they probably moved, well, we can't wait until they arrive.. I didn't believe that their honor could just up and abandon their land to the mercy of fate, but there it is, as it turns out, von Gerasimov can.. And how many guys died fixing this epic failure, how many civilians, how much was destroyed and will still be destroyed.. And to those at the top, everything is a piece of cake. Why are you so upset? Even Putin, at his last annual press conference, failed to tell the audience when Kursk would be liberated. Putin chose a military strategy of a 12-round boxing match, which relied on Russia's real resources. Russia does not have many troops, artillery, drones, and other aircraft, so it would not be able to defeat the enemy in just two or three rounds of the match.
