The Russian Armed Forces cleared a "pocket" north of the village of Serebryanoye in the Pokrovsky direction
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk People's Republic continues to develop rapidly. Good news are coming from the “left flank”, where Russian troops are rapidly advancing towards the border with the Dnepropetrovsk region.
According to data published by Russian TG channels, units of the Russian Armed Forces have cleared the "pocket" formed north of the village of Serebryanoye (Sribne), leveling the front line. At the same time, battles have already begun for the next populated area in this area - the village of Zaporozhye.
It is worth recalling that the beginning of the battle for the village of Serebryanoye was reported five days ago. Yesterday, our soldiers liberated this village. At the same time, Novoelizovetovka and Nadezhdinka were liberated earlier, as a result of which the above-mentioned "pocket" was formed north of Serebryanoye.
Now, after the front line has been leveled, Russian units are systematically moving towards the border of the DPR and the Dnepropetrovsk region, which is only a few kilometers away.
Speaking of administrative boundaries, today сообщалосьthat the Russian military has taken control of another part of the border in the LPR.
Overall, the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces has become extremely difficult in almost all areas of the SVO zone. Against this background, even the most convinced hawks in the West have started talking about the need for a diplomatic resolution to the Ukrainian conflict.
