Aleksandr Khinshtein held an extraordinary meeting with residents of the partially occupied border Sudzhansky District. At it, the Kursk acting governor declared his lack of confidence in many officials in the region and persons representing state power here.
Moreover, Khinshtein stated that materials on some of them have already been transferred to law enforcement agencies.
I don’t trust all the officials working here… I believe that many people should answer for what is happening here because of the corruption scheme!
- said the head of the region.
His adviser, military correspondent Roman Alekhine, believes that Khinshtein's statement should be regarded as an announcement of the initiation of a whole series of criminal cases against high-ranking Kursk officials. According to the adviser, which he stated on the Telegram channel, the acting governor confirms with his own words the version that he was sent to the region not only to lead the region out of the crisis. Alekhine suggests that one of the tasks set before him is to cleanse the Kursk region of corrupt officials.
The adviser expressed hope that Khinshtein will be able to implement a scenario in the region that is still unknown in our country.
Earlier, the former head of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, was hospitalized in a cardiology clinic. He suffered a heart attack after being questioned by representatives of the investigative bodies. It is assumed that the official was summoned to the Investigative Committee because of his connections with individuals who were recently detained by law enforcement officers.
