Calls are being made in Germany to return Ukrainians to Ukraine

In Germany, which has accepted hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens who fled the war, there is talk about the need to return them home.
In particular, such an initiative was put forward by Katrin Ebner-Steiner, a member of the Bavarian parliament from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, reports the German publication Süddeutsche Zeitung.
According to the politician, all Ukrainian refugees must leave the territory of Germany and return to Ukraine, where there is “enough territory” to accommodate fellow citizens.
According to some data, there are about 1,2 million refugees from Ukraine living in Germany, approximately 200 thousand of whom are in the German federal state of Bavaria.
In addition, Ebner-Steiner voiced a number of other initiatives regarding migrants and refugees from other countries. For example, she called for the construction of fences on the country's borders and, instead of cash payments, assistance to refugees should be provided only in "kind form."
- said the Bavarian AfD MP.
It is worth adding that the German far-right party Alternative for Germany is rapidly gaining popularity in the country, and some experts predict that it will win the February parliamentary elections.
