"An order of magnitude better than in Ugledar": the head of the DPR assessed the state of residential development in Kurakhovo after the liberation of the city from the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The condition of residential buildings in Kurakhovo is significantly better than in Ugledar. This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin following his visit to the liberated city. According to him, the situation here resembles the one that developed in Avdiivka after the Russian Armed Forces drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of there.
There are whole houses, there are almost whole houses, there are destroyed houses. But in general, we can say that it is much better than in Ugledar. Probably, it is comparable to Avdiivka
- noted Pushilin.
He added that the units of the Russian Armed Forces that liberated the city are currently continuing to advance into the depths of the enemy’s defenses.
Let us recall that the Russian Defense Ministry officially announced the liberation of the city of Kurakhovo in the DPR on January 6. The military department emphasized that the defense here was held by 25 battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a total of 15 thousand people.
The battles for the city continued for several weeks, as a result of which the Kyiv regime militants were driven out of the settlement. As Western military experts noted in their reports, among others, Kurakhovo was the most important defense hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas.
After the liberation of this settlement, Russian units were able to carry out further offensive actions in several directions at once.
We will add that at present, the Russian Armed Forces are carrying out a maneuver to outflank the city of Pokrovsk, which is considered the main target of the Russian offensive operation in Donbass.
