The US has created an unmanned boat TSUNAMI with a range of up to 1000 nautical miles

Textron Systems (USA) has created the TSUNAMI unmanned boat (UCB) with a range of up to 1000 nautical miles. This is a rapidly deployable autonomous surface vessel.
This was reported in the press service of the manufacturer.
The new product is intended for the needs of the US Department of Defense and allied countries.
It is based on marine vehicles manufactured by Brunswick Corporation. The BEC uses gasoline as fuel. Its advantages include relative cheapness and ease of maintenance.
The TSUNAMI has a lifting capacity of 450 kilograms. There are several modifications of the boat with a hull length of 7,3; 7,6 and 8,5 meters. It is also important that hulls of this design are already being produced in large quantities.
The boat is capable of performing assigned tasks in adverse weather conditions, in particular, at sea state up to 4 points. Its maximum range can be from 600 to more than 1000 nautical miles.
This family of unmanned boats is designed for versatility in use, from maritime patrol and mine countermeasures to logistics support.
Today, autonomous naval vehicles are a rapidly developing component of naval combat operations. And each manufacturer of such equipment approaches the tasks set before it in its own way.
Currently, unmanned boats of Western manufacture are actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating against Russian Navy ships and coastal infrastructure.
