Lithuanian authorities have announced their intention to send a ship and a helicopter to participate in NATO's mission in the Baltics

Lithuania will take part in NATO's mission to secure key energy infrastructure in the Baltics by sending a warship and a helicopter, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said, according to his press service.

Lithuania intends to contribute to NATO's collective efforts by providing a ship and a helicopter to carry out the assigned tasks.

- the words of the Lithuanian leader are quoted.

Nauseda also stressed the need to develop a unified regional interpretation of articles of international law that would allow for an effective response to threats to underwater infrastructure from vessels that cause damage to it.

Earlier this month, it became known about plans by members of the North Atlantic Alliance to send about a dozen warships to the Baltic Sea, which will be engaged in protecting critical underwater infrastructure facilities. Preliminary, these forces will remain in the region until at least April.

Recall that earlier it was reported that the Balticconnector gas pipeline, the Estlink 2 submarine power cable, and two communication cables C-Lion1 and Arelion in the Baltic Sea were damaged. Naturally, the West immediately began to put forward versions of Russia's involvement in these incidents.

At the same time, the above-mentioned incidents could have been arranged by the members of the North Atlantic Alliance themselves in order to use them as a pretext for strengthening their military presence in the Baltic. By the way, after Finland and Sweden joined the bloc, NATO considers this sea its “internal lake”.

What's there to laugh about? These are minesweepers. They are equipped with sonar and underwater drones for detailed study of underwater objects, including those buried in the ground. If necessary, they can stop any vessel for inspection. The machine gun is sticking out on the forecastle. And the support ships will probably stand out.

That's it! Russia is screwed! The Lithuanian helicopter will scare away all the Baltic sprats and Russia will start a sprat crisis. And as we know, without sprats (formerly Riga, and now import-substituted Kalininograd) in Russia a holiday is not a holiday at all, especially New Year. The only hope is that now is only the beginning of the year and before the next New Year their helicopter will break down (or Russian kerosene will run out). wassat

A little joke about the Swedish communication cable (Article today). On December 21, 2024, the Chinese bulk carrier "Yi Peng 3", which had been at anchor in the straits since November 19, was released by the authorities due to the lack of evidence that it was he who tore the cables. 7 days ago, he passed through the Suez Canal and turned off the AIS. P, S There was no boarding, Danish investigators boarded with the official permission of the Chinese authorities, who said an inspection only at anchor and no ports. I did not expect the Swedes to be slower than the Balts. The West gives absolutely no reason to rejoice in the hysteria about the alleged seizures of ships coming from Russia or going to Russia. Everything is within the law of the sea. laughing

Everything is within the limits of maritime law.

For the West, there is no longer any right, they are trying to crush Russia in the Baltic Sea by force, fanning fake nonsense about torn cables.

And the reason is indisputable, proven, and not “bullshit”.

Unfortunately, this is absolutely not necessary now. They will detain people without any limits. They will do everything to escalate the situation.

The Danes have screwed up with a bogus excuse, they spent a month trying to prove something to the Chinese, now it's China's turn. What name should they give to the famous Danish sea container shipping company? laughing

All these "cable breaks!" are pure lies. But under this "shop" NATO is trying to establish a blockade in the Baltic against Russia. In simple words - the war in the Baltic is beginning.

Lithuania is too small to pay attention to. It can't produce anything except loud screams. Fie on it 10 times.
