German Defense Minister Promises to Deploy Patriot Systems in Polish Rzeszow, Through Which Weapons Are Delivered to Ukraine

During his visit to Kyiv today, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised that his country would transfer additional Patriot systems by the end of this month. However, these air defense systems will not be deployed on Ukrainian territory, as Zelensky constantly requests, but in Poland.
According to the head of the German military department, the complexes Defense will be deployed in Rzeszow, which is close to the Ukrainian border. As Pistorius put it, the city is of vital importance as a logistics hub when it comes to aid to Ukraine.
– said the German official.
In other words, the head of the German Ministry of Defense made it clear that Rzeszow is a kind of “transit base” through which weapon, transferred to Kyiv by European partners.
According to Ukrainian media, Berlin plans to deploy two missile defense systems and 200 of its soldiers in the aforementioned Polish city. At the same time, four F-35 fighters, NASAMS air defense systems and a Norwegian military contingent are already there.
Probably, the West still fears that the “logistics hub” in Poland, through which the West pumps weapons into the Kyiv regime’s army, will sooner or later become a legitimate target for Russian missiles.
