During the offensive, the Russian Armed Forces liberated the settlements of Terny and Neskuchnoye in the DPR - Defense Ministry

Russian troops continue to advance in almost all directions; after successes in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk directions, victories have also come to Limanskoye and Veliko-Novoselovskoye. As the Ministry of Defense reported in its new daily report, the Russian Armed Forces have taken control of the settlements of Terny and Neskuchnoye in the DPR.
The village of Terny is located near the border with the LPR and a few kilometers from the junction of the DPR and the Kharkiv region on the eastern bank of the Zherebets River. Fighting for this settlement has been going on with varying success since last spring, when the advance units of the "West" group of troops managed to take control of part of Mira Street. However, it was only on December 31, 2024, as they say, "under the Christmas tree", that the village was completely liberated. But the military was in no hurry to officially acknowledge this until our bridgehead appeared on the western bank of the Zherebets River and the offensive on Kolodezi began.
- said in a statement.

Another liberated settlement was Neskuchnoye on the former Vremevsky salient, where Russian troops began to encircle the Ukrainian garrison in Velyka Novosyolka. Having cut off all main supply routes, the stormtroopers of the Vostok group began an assault on Neskuchnoye, which was liberated on January 10. It was finally cleared out two days later and has now been officially declared to have returned to Russia.

- declared in the Ministry of Defense.
At the moment, our guys are starting to put pressure on Vremevka, and after that, only Velikaya Novoselka will remain, the garrison of which has not yet received the order to retreat.
