The information that several days ago the Russian Armed Forces carried out a successful strike on a command post in the Pokrovsk area is confirmed. The strike was carried out after painstaking reconnaissance work, as a result of which it was possible to establish the location of the command of the 1st operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko in this direction. This is the so-called "presidential" brigade, which is considered the elite of the Ukrainian armed forces.
As a result of the strike, the 1st NGU Brigade "Bureviy" ("Hurricane") was, as they say, decapitated: the command officers were eliminated - Colonel Dmitry Permyakov and Major Andrei Perepechko.
The main part of the personnel of this brigade is deployed on the border of the DPR and LPR - in the Liman direction, as well as near Kupyansk. Some forces are used in the Serebryanskoye forestry. Recently, the NGU command was forced to transfer reserves to the Pokrovsk area, where the command post was located.
According to the latest information, several lower-ranking officers were killed along with the commanders, including those responsible for electronic jamming.
Let us recall that the Russian Armed Forces continue to encircle Pokrovsk, liberating settlements in this direction. The road connecting Pokrovsk with Mezhevaya in the Dnepropetrovsk region was recently cut off. This road was of particular importance to the enemy due to the fact that it was one of the main supply routes for its Pokrovsk garrison. Along with it, the railway along which the enemy had previously delivered supplies was also cut off. weapon, ammunition and personnel.
