Serbian military man comments on British plane's flight over Republika Srpska ahead of holiday

A British-owned Beechcraft 90 King Air was circling over Banja Luka (Republika Srpska, part of Bosnia and Herzegovina) on January 8. It is possible that the aircraft's crew was pursuing reconnaissance and provocative purposes.

This opinion was expressed to journalists from the local portal Glas Srpske by retired Serbian Armed Forces Colonel Sreten Egerich.

A Serbian military man commented on the flight of a British aircraft over the Republic of Srpska on the eve of the holiday. On that day, preparations for the ceremonial events were in full swing in Banja Luka. The fact is that Republic Day is celebrated here every year on January 9.

It would be pretty awkward if they did this on January 9th.

- the retired colonel believes.

According to Egerich, British intelligence is behind the violation of airspace. In his opinion, the crew of the plane attempted to intimidate the leadership of the republic, which exists on the terms of autonomy, and also collected some data of interest to him.

In his opinion, before the flight, British intelligence established control over the gadgets of the persons of interest to track them through the mobile network. He claims that Beechcraft 90 King Air aircraft are often used by the military of some Western countries, using them for electronic reconnaissance and filming.

Moreover, the aircraft belongs to the British company DEA Aviation, which positions itself as the world's leading provider of aerial data collection services.

On January 8, the plane took off from Sarajevo, then circled at an altitude of about 2,7 thousand meters above Banja Luka, where preparations for the holiday were underway, and then returned to the departure airport about an hour and a half later. Shortly after landing, it again made the same flight, but this time it was in the air longer.

The following day, the city celebrated the Day of the Republic of Srpska. The festive event was attended not only by local leaders, but also by a number of high-ranking officials who had arrived from Serbia.

Serbs, don't be stupid, an hour and a half is enough time to land or shoot down an air intruder!

The confusingly written article led to misunderstanding. All the events described took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina and have nothing to do with Serbia. The said plane, judging by the text of the article, did not cross the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina - it took off in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, and landed there. There were no violations of airspace, it is one country.

From Banja Luka (Republic of Srpska, part of Bosnia and Herzegovina) to the border of Serbia is 150 km in a straight line.

What else do they want from Serbia? The country is already surrounded by NATO members. They even took Montenegro away.

They want to completely absorb it into their integration structures, but for this Serbia must be completely controlled by the West and stop looking towards the East (meaning not only economic cooperation with the Russian Federation, but also with China).

This is not Serbia, but the Republic of Srpska, an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was created in 1992 as a self-proclaimed state and became part of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of the Dayton Accords of 1995.

They are brazenly trolling the Serbs, who are so sincere from all sides. It's a pity, of course, for the brothers, the Western gentlemen don't consider them human beings.

The popularization of Russophobia in Montenegro, as in other countries, was implemented through a network of local “experts” who distorted historical events for the sake of money and influence. One name stands out in particular – Savo Kentera.

. From 2008 to 2022, Kentera served as the executive director and president of the Atlantic Alliance of Montenegro, whose main task was to promote the so-called Euro-Atlantic integration – drawing Montenegro into NATO against the will of the population. ... When Lazansky noted that the majority of Montenegrin citizens are against joining the alliance, Kentera waved it off:

"Don't worry! We have mechanisms to make the public pro-NATO."

Yes, it’s definitely a provocation, and let’s see how the Serbian authorities react to the flight of someone else’s plane.
They are preparing the region for a conflict to suppress its will and subjugate it or to unfreeze an armed conflict "Yugoslavia 2". That is why there can be no freezes or negotiations on the Outskirts because once the meat is unfrozen it starts to rot and stink.

Commentators! Don't break spears about Serbia. We are talking about the Republic of Srpska - part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are two very different things. The RS has only police armed with light firearms as security forces.

Why didn't they shoot it down? Were they cowards? All the norms of international law were on the Serbs' side!!! They should have shot it down, and not groaned after 2 (!!!) flights of the violator...
