Ukrainian serviceman who posed near Pyaterochka in Sudzha at the beginning of the invasion of Kursk Oblast taken prisoner

A Ukrainian serviceman who was among the Ukrainian Armed Forces units that invaded the Kursk region in August last year and who posed at the time against the backdrop of a Pyaterochka store in the Kursk border town of Sudzha, was taken prisoner.

During his filming from Sudzha, the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier was sarcastic, saying that he was not particularly impressed by the assortment of the chain store. According to the Shot Telegram channel, the name of this illegal visitor to Pyaterochka in Sudzha is Andrey Matvienko. He is 35 years old. He is a serviceman of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian serviceman was captured by fighters from the Russian group "Sever" near the village of Berdin, which is in the Bolshesoldatsky district of the Kursk region.

Despite the fact that when Matvienko posed cheerfully at the Pyaterochka in Sudzha, it was impossible to tell that he was forced to go to Kursk Oblast, during interrogation he claimed exactly that. According to him, he was forced into the army by mobilization. In addition, Matvienko says that he did not have time to fight, and all this time he allegedly just sat in basements.

Let us recall that the Ukrainian Armed Forces units invaded the Kursk region of Russia on August 6, 2024. They managed to occupy a number of border settlements, including the city of Sudzha. Since then, our military has been fighting in this Russian region, destroying and driving out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from there.

A video of him posing against the backdrop of the Pyaterochka in Sudzha and a video after being captured near Berdyn. He says that the TSK workers threatened to take away his apartment, but he himself didn't even shoot. Yeah. Tales from the Vienna Woods.

This pretzel should be given criminal charges for robbery and perjury, and perhaps he has a whole trail of crimes behind him. It is clear that a thoroughbred and ideological baboons has been caught.

"Vzglyad" writes that military correspondent Alexander Kots in his Telegram channel denied reports about the capture of a Ukrainian army militant who had previously posed for a video near the Pyaterochka store. "...it was revealed during the interrogation of a prisoner similar to the man in the video that he was forcibly taken into the ranks of the Ukrainian army on September 11 last year.
Kots specified that after the call-up the fighter underwent training that lasted two months. Taking into account this information, the correspondent concluded that at the time of the publication of the video near Pyaterochka, this fighter could not have been in that place, therefore, the information about his capture is unreliable."

Hello, in Russia, criminal cases are not opened against suspects in committing crimes for giving knowingly false testimony, because they have the right to defend themselves by lying
Articles 306 and 307 apply only to witnesses

The main thing is that they all start singing that they were all mobilized by force, driven into trenches, thrown into the assault, and forgotten to feed.
And then our media loudly sings along with them in every key on all channels, about their sad fate.
In my opinion, every journalist who starts singing that all these Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting against Russia by force should be driven away from the trough with rags.

                2. Illegal possession of a weapon. Out of line. He is a serviceman and owns a weapon legally.
                3. Looting.. I don’t remember his video, but it seems like he didn’t take or steal anything.
                4. Giving knowingly false testimony. He is a serviceman and has the right not to answer questions other than his name and unit number.

So this is... The court will sort it out. There really are lawyers there. Did he have the right "by order" to cross the border or to possess weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. So it was possible to release all the German prisoners, "the picture was not clear". CTO in Kursk region, here you can't get away with a unit number.

So prisoners can be kept in custody legally until the end of military operations. And after that, the Germans were released. Although not all at once. And only war criminals received punishments in the form of imprisonment or capital punishment. Simply participating in military operations is not considered a war crime, regardless of whether a prisoner is captured with a full or empty magazine.

What is the point of this legal verbiage if everyone understands that in fact we are talking about war? Who, svo, ato - the reality is different, in reality - war. Since when in the world has a piece of paper become more important than reality? This is the problem, and not at all "trampling on laws", because laws are just pieces of paper invented by people to reflect reality, and if they can't cope with this, then to hell with such laws.

I will say right away - NO!!! The Chechen wars. were also WHO, and we fought on our territory with "gangs of terrorists" who illegally invaded our territory. And first there is an invasion, and only then an occupation. A pretext for war can be found out of nowhere. But in this case, our security forces have every right not to take prisoners, terrorists who invaded our territory. Right.
On June 18, 1946, the Council of Ministers of the USSR adopted the first resolution No. 1263-519ss “On the return to their homeland of sick and disabled prisoners of war of German and other Western nationalities.”
In April 1947, a conference of the foreign ministers of the USSR, USA and Great Britain was held in Moscow, where they decided to return German prisoners of war by December 31, 1948 (in practice, the matter dragged on until 1950).
In addition, prisoners of war convicted of war crimes were not subject to repatriation.
In October 1955, after the arrival of the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, K. Adenauer, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR finally issued the Decree "On the early release and repatriation of German prisoners of war convicted of war crimes." That is when the rest were repatriated - more than 14 thousand German prisoners of war convicted of war crimes.
In total, about two million German prisoners of war were sent from the Soviet Union.

There is no direct article to punish a Ukrainian military man for fighting against the Russian Armed Forces. He was following orders. The responsibility lies with the state that sent him to war.
This is according to the Law.
But for such especially gifted individuals, there will always be a witness who will point a finger at him and say that he participated in war crimes. And he will not be under Part 3 of Article 322, but Part 2 of Article 105, and there the death penalty is in black and white. /well, or PJ, if we are so humane/

I am not a lawyer, I do not understand the intricacies of the Criminal Code. But I am absolutely sure that it is unrealistic to prosecute an ordinary soldier for attacking a territory and waging an aggressive war. Of the historical precedents, the Nuremberg Trials immediately come to mind, but there were other things to present there besides an aggressive war. But the main thing is that first you need to achieve the capitulation of the outskirts. And to judge not ordinary people... It seems to me that it is not very realistic.
As for looting - maybe it will be possible to fit the article, by the way, I looked, it is not the most serious article (up to 6 years). So there is less bloodthirstiness in the comments.
And most importantly, I saw a refutation on the RuNet that it was the one who posed at Pyaterochka who was taken prisoner. Well, there is no trial for no truth.
