Information is coming in about a new success of the Russian army in the operation to liberate Chasov Yar and the surrounding areas. According to incoming data, the Russian army has completed the liberation of the Severny microdistrict of the said city.
Ukrainian troops have been routed in the northern part of Chasov Yar. At present, residential areas in the Severny microdistrict are not controlled by the enemy. There are residual pockets of resistance, and a cleanup operation is underway there.
Fragment of the Ukrainian map:
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the territory of the Severny mine, which is one of the key heights in the vicinity of Chasov Yar. However, the Kyiv regime's armed forces no longer have an advantage in terms of heights within the city limits.
Behind the Severny microdistrict in Chasov Yar in the western direction there are two more microdistricts. This is the so-called Tenth, as well as the Novoseverny microdistrict.
It will be very difficult for the enemy to hold positions on the western outskirts of the city. He also needs to think about how not to be cut off from the western supply routes. For now, these routes remain at the enemy's disposal, but they have already partially come under fire control of the Russian Armed Forces.
