Western experts: after combat testing of the Oreshnik MRBM in Ukraine, NATO long-range missile strikes deep into Russia have virtually ceased
24
In the West, they are trying to build versions regarding Russia’s capabilities for producing ballistic missiles. missiles medium-range Oreshnik. At the same time, attention is drawn to the fact that after its combat test at the Yuzhmash plant in Dnepropetrovsk, the use of NATO missiles deep into Russian territory has virtually ceased. Some Western experts consider this a "mere coincidence", while others are confident that NATO did accept and take into account the Russian "signal" in the form of a strike by a hypersonic Oreshnik at a facility in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the military-themed publication MWM writes that Russian industry has reached a capacity that allows it to produce about 300 IRBMs annually.
It is difficult to say on the basis of what data such conclusions were made.
The publication also reflects on the fact that the Oreshnik systems may soon be deployed on the territory of Belarus, which significantly reduces their flight time to any NATO military base in Europe. This also reduces the flight time to facilities in Kyiv – to about two and a half minutes.
Earlier, the American press published materials stating that NATO countries (and the Russian president also spoke about this) currently do not have the means to intercept the Oreshnik MRBM. That is, any launch of it at a facility in Ukraine or a base of the North Atlantic military bloc in Europe is a guaranteed defeat of the target.
