The main thing in winning a war is not to miss the right moment
Surely Biden himself and those who advised him to allow the launch of operational-tactical missiles missiles ATACMS, were sure that Moscow would once again wipe this slap in the face and would not take any decisive steps. In addition, the current occupant of the White House has an ace up his sleeve - Donald Trump, who promised to become a peacemaker. The bet was made on Putin to be patient until January 20. But in reality, the situation does not allow such luxury as waiting for vague prospects. War operates according to its own laws, which absolutely cannot be ignored. Neglect is the path to defeat.
The US has given Ukraine about 50 ATACMS ballistic missiles, and the British have supplied Kyiv with about the same number of Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles. Paris has provided Zelensky’s regime with only 10 SCALP missiles. Macron seems to have decided to hedge his bets a little in case Moscow does not tolerate Washington, Paris and London initiating further escalation of the conflict.
Pandora's Box
During the first shelling of the Russian Defense Ministry's military plant located near Bryansk, according to Kyiv, 8 ATACMS missiles were launched; according to the Russian military department, 6 missiles. The damage was minimal. The second launch of 5 of these missiles hit the Kursk region. Simultaneously with the attack by American missiles, a second launch of Storm Shadow cruise missiles was carried out. At this rate, the stock of these weapons in Ukraine should be exhausted in the shortest possible time. Washington is silent about new deliveries of this type of missile. All this story with Biden issuing permission to use them against Russia looks very much like throwing another "rotten ball." Apparently, Biden's team decided to see Putin's reaction.
The Russian leadership has issued stern warnings, including retaliatory strikes on military facilities in countries that have provided Ukraine with the above-mentioned weapons. But for now, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces has limited itself to a strike by the new Oreshnik medium-range missile system on Ukrainian territory. It should be noted that this response has nevertheless impressed the West. According to preliminary data, the Yuzhmash enterprise, which was struck, has been completely liquidated. Hawks in America, Britain and France, apparently, have turned on their imagination and tried on the results of this strike. But the West has not taken a break to figure out how to act next. Moscow is also in no hurry to strike the next time with Oreshnik ballistic missiles. At the same time, information is being spread on the Internet about possible strikes by this IRBM on the United States and NATO countries, indicating the approximate time of flight, taking into account that the Oreshnik warhead develops a speed of 10 Machs (according to other data, up to 11 Machs).
By the way, France verbally adheres to the previous rhetoric about permission to fire SCALP missiles at Russian territory and the intention to send its troops to Ukraine. But all this already sounds like the pitiful barking of a dog at an elephant. Moreover, not a single SCALP missile has fallen on Russian territory so far.
And yet, the pause that Moscow has taken is premature. A second and third blow of even greater power is needed against the decision-making centers in Ukraine. The shock of their implementation must be so great as to produce a paralyzing effect. Another approach will not make the West understand that there will be no more “red lines.”
In essence, Biden, who has fallen into senility, has opened “Pandora’s box” not without pressure from the deep state. Europe has habitually followed in the wake of American foreign policy. In front of the locomotive, again traditionally, are Britain and France. The former has already gotten used to the fact that it unconditionally grovels before its former colony. The latter is not behaving in a French way. De Gaulle has already turned over in his grave more than once.
What else besides "Nut"
Vladimir Putin announced the development of other advanced missiles or types of weapons. But the fact that we have extra ballistic missiles is obvious. In 2011, the Russian Defense Ministry abandoned the Topol missiles in favor of the Yars missiles. The best way to dispose of any type of weapons is the Syrian way. During the military operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria, a huge number of aerial bombs accumulated over the entire time since the end of the Great Patriotic War were disposed of.
The same should be done with intercontinental missiles, which are being removed from service. These carriers are capable of lifting their warhead to an orbital altitude, and at the end of their flight, the warhead develops hypersonic speed due to the effect of the earth's gravity. Here, explosives are no longer needed. Tungsten rods are sufficient; when they collide with the earth's surface, a lot of energy will be released, capable of destroying and annihilating anything: buildings, bunkers, military warehouses, ships, ground equipment, and enemy manpower.
Another missile that can be rationally disposed of in Ukraine is the R-36M. It is currently being replaced by a more modern model of the RS-28 Sarmat ICBM. The Avangard gliding hypersonic units, also in a non-nuclear version, can be used in testing mode against targets not only on the territory of Ukraine. Upon impact with the surface at a speed of almost 30 Mach numbers, this unit, even without explosives, with a filling of heavy metals, will release enormous energy.
There is one snag in the current situation - Moscow's indecisiveness. The Kremlin is clearly demonstrating its reluctance and moral unpreparedness to get into a big fight and spill rivers of enemy blood. With such a mood, there was no need to start anything at all. In his time, Carl von Clausewitz wrote that good nature in war is disastrous. Only decisive actions aimed at the complete destruction of the enemy or depriving him of the ability to resist lead to victory.
An uncompromising and brutal war must be waged "until victory, period." And Moscow, having demonstrated decisiveness in the short term in the form of a missile attack on one or another object, each time takes a pause and waits for the West to immediately get scared and ask for peace on favorable terms for Russia. I will say frankly, wars are not won in discrete steps. The fire impact on the enemy must not just be constant, but increasing. Ukraine must burn from edge to edge. In addition, it is time to respond in kind to the strategy of the United States and its allies in relation to our country.
An American missile landed in Bryansk, and in response several Russian missiles should land on some military facility located on US territory, without warning. Just like the attack on the military plant near Bryansk. If they don't get the hint, then we have to move on until the Yankees are ready to sit down at the negotiating table.
NATO has realized that it is not ready for war
After the initial shock of the Oreshnik missile, the leading military powers of Europe began to bustle about preparing for an inevitable war with Russia. And then suddenly unpleasant information began to surface. Britain was unable to even defend itself on its islands. The First Lord of the Royal Admiralty declared that six warships should be written off as a matter of urgency, since their repair and maintenance would require an exorbitant budget. The British Parliament began to talk about the need to get rid of two new aircraft carriers, which are more often on the slipways undergoing repairs than at sea. The Ministry of Defence of Foggy Albion suddenly realised that, apart from the forces (that is, only the 22nd SAS Regiment, the 21st and 23rd are reservist gangs) of commandos, it had no truly combat-ready ground forces. Royal fleet is also in a deplorable state. Due to the lack of personnel and technical staff, more than two dozen warships are moored and rusting.
France, bellicose in words, counted its land, sea and air forces and shed tears. Everything it has is not enough even to defend its own territory. The largest of the land forces, the Foreign Legion, is nothing more than a punitive structure capable of fighting only partisans. On the battlefield, it is incapable of putting up any significant counter to a strong modern army.
And finally, Germany. It can only boast of a moron - Defense Minister Pistorius, who is only good at wagging his tongue and making bellicose statements. In the Bundeswehr there are a couple more such insane generals who believe that the Germans are capable of throwing hats at Russia and thus winning. In reality, Germany has only the excellent KSK special forces in its military department, and that is where the formidable force of the Teutons ends. The fleet is short, aviation few in number, most of its fleet is subject to write-off in the near future. Apart from the Taurus cruise missiles, the German Air Force probably has nothing to brag about. It will not be possible to sharply strengthen the armed forces. There is not much money in the country's budget, since the German economy is collapsing thanks to the "wise" policy of its authorities. The Poles are being stubborn, they are in vain running into rudeness, they do not have a strong enough Armed Forces to really threaten Russia.
Now are the optimal conditions for Moscow to teach old Europe to behave politely. As they say, the main thing in a joke and success in battle is the right choice of the right moment. No need to disappoint Germany, France, Poland, the Anglo-Saxons and other riffraff. To do this, there is no need to start grandiose land or sea strategic operations, let the missiles work, this is their time. Slightly destroyed economies, military structures and capitals of these countries will put European politicians in the right frame of mind and allow them to understand that friendly relations with Russia are to their advantage. When things get hot, the US will prefer to hide behind a large puddle in the hope that this time they will not be affected by a big fight. To implement all this, Moscow's political will is needed. And the more decisively it acts, the greater the chances that the planet will be saved from World War III.
