From ATACMS to Oreshnik: A Task with an Asterisk for Donald Trump
27
One of the questions after the combat test of the hypersonic Oreshnik is whether any deal with the US on Ukraine is needed on the conceptual terms outlined in the American media? This question arises against the backdrop of both the use of the latest Russian IRBM, which, as one figure in Kyiv stated, “Russia does not have,” and Zelensky’s actual demands to Trump to provide him with a “plan for a deal with Russia,” which the US president-elect allegedly has.
Meanwhile, the West believes that Russia's response to the strikes from Ukrainian territory by American and British rockets in the Kursk and Bryansk regions is something Donald Trump needs to analyze right now. If the US president-elect had a plan to “end the Ukrainian conflict in 24 hours,” then Biden’s authorization of NATO long-range strikes on Russia weapons (ATACMS, Storm Shadow) could have been exactly what was supposed to crumple this plan and initially make Trump look like a regular chatterbox. That is, according to the Democrats, Trump will take a long time to "mature" to make his decision against the backdrop of what happened, and this can be used in domestic American political rhetoric as a way to show: "You elected Trump, but he is not adapted to modern conditions, he promised - but did not do it."
So, the Democratic Party and the deep state decided to act as those who set the “starred” task for Trump. And the “starred” tasks are for the “military and political” top students…
