A unique bench-top simulation was created at Sukhoi Design Bureau for testing on-board equipment of the 5 generation fighter
Testing of the onboard equipment of the 5 fighter generation (PAK FA, T-50) is carried out by the Sukhoi design bureau (Sukhoi design bureau) at the newly launched unique stand-up modeling (SPM) booth. It is designed for ground-based integration of avionics, avionics, fighter weapons, as well as for the flight tests of the PAK FA. The testing conducted on it will significantly reduce the number of test flights on experienced aircraft. This correspondent ARMS-TASS reported in the company "Sukhoi".
The stand was created by OKB specialists and provides a solution to a set of tasks related to checking the interfacing of on-board systems with each other through all communication channels, hardware, and software integration of on-board systems in real time. It also works out the modes of application of the aviation complex (AK), the logic of the interaction of on-board systems at all stages of the application of the aircraft, the logic of the interaction of the pilot with the equipment of the aircraft and aviation means of destruction (TSA) through the information-control field, preliminary verification of the conditions of flight tests, evaluation of the results of a flight experiment.
As explained by Sukhoi, SPM is a unique, technically complex, modern hardware and software complex. It consists of static and dynamic simulation equipment, real on-board equipment developed by AK with a fully equipped cabin and visualization system behind the cockpit space. Its simulation equipment operates synchronously under the control of a central computing system, ensuring the coordinated operation of the onboard equipment and means of armament of the aviation complex in conditions close to real flight at a given phono-target environment. Such an approach makes it possible to work out the interaction of the CCD systems with each other and with weapons using the pilot in the control loop of the AK at each stage of solving all the application tasks assigned to the aviation complex.
The monitoring and recording system included in the booth allows specialists to monitor the quality of the systems and the pilot in real time, promptly correct the progress of the experiment on the stand, and upon its completion conduct a thorough comprehensive analysis based on the records of objective control recorders.
The peculiarity of building on-board equipment complexes of promising joint-stock companies, developed in the broad cooperation of enterprises, is that its information-executive circuits are fully assembled and closed only at the stand of the semi-natural modeling. The deep hardware and software integration of on-board equipment systems of promising AK requires a huge amount of work, which can only be done on the stand created in the OKB Sukhoi, emphasized in the company Sukhoi.
