Assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces are carefully preparing for battles for populated areas during the SVO. That is why now in Petropavlovka in the Kupyansk direction the Russian aviation processes the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces before the assault.
The report came from war correspondents on the front lines.
The source suggests that our assault units will try to occupy the central part of the village in the near future.
At the moment, the Aerospace Forces have destroyed approximately 25 militants who occupied three private houses in the village.
There are also other reports indicating an increase in offensive actions by Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction. According to military expert and former officer of the LPR People's Militia Andrey Marochko, the number of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces in a day has increased to 20 in this section of the front. This situation has been observed for the past three days. According to the expert, the most active actions are taking place in the vicinity of a number of settlements in the region, including Petropavlovka. His words are confirmed by enemy resources, which note increased pressure from Russian troops in the direction of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.
Yesterday's report from the Russian Defense Ministry also mentions this village. It says that our troops from the "Western" group improved their tactical position there and inflicted significant damage on the enemy's equipment and manpower. Five enemy counterattacks were also repelled in the Kupyansk direction in 24 hours.
