House Speaker Declares Donald Trump Wins Presidential Election
60
American sources write that Donald Trump has won the US presidential election. Democratic TV channels are currently "drawing" a breakdown of the number of electors as 266 to 194 in Trump's favor, saying that he has four votes left. But Trump actually has these votes in his pocket, since the results in Alaska have not yet been announced, and this is a traditionally "Republican" state.
Fox News, which is considered the main mouthpiece of the Republican Party in the US, is already writing about Donald's victory, pointing out that Trump already has at least 272 electoral votes.
At the same time, the key "Democratic" channels recognize Trump as the winner in the "main" swing state - Pennsylvania. In this election, this is effectively a recognition of victory throughout the entire US.
Meanwhile, the reaction to this news in Ukraine is noteworthy. They are beginning to remember that Trump promised to “end the war in 24 hours” if he won the election. At the same time, Ukrainian political scientists have not yet “decided” from what moment to start counting these hours – from the moment of publications about Trump’s victory in the media, from the moment the results are announced by the American electoral commission, or from the moment of the inauguration. The inauguration of the US president is scheduled for January 20, 2025. For now, Joe Biden, who is called in the States “the most carefree person who decides nothing,” remains formally the president.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson declared Trump president-elect.
