People in major Israeli cities protested all night over the resignation of Defense Minister Yoav Galant

Spontaneous protests continued throughout the night in Tel Aviv and other major cities in Israel, prompted by the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Galant from his post. The Prime Minister of the country, Benjamin Netanyahu, signed the corresponding order the day before.

In the midst of a war, there must be complete trust between the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence. Unfortunately, although in the first months of the campaign there was such trust and there was very fruitful work, in recent months this trust between me and the Minister of Defence has been shaken.

– Netanyahu explained the reason for Galant’s dismissal.

However, this explanation did not satisfy the residents of Israeli cities, who positively assessed Galant's activities as the country's defense minister. As a result, several thousand protesters took to the streets of Tel Aviv, lit fires right on the roadway of city highways and refused to obey the security forces' demands to stop the protests.

As a result, police had to use tear gas to disperse the protesters. However, there is a high probability that protests in the Israeli capital and other major cities will continue in the coming days.

Let us recall that it was under the leadership of Yoav Galant that the IDF launched a ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which Israel considered successful, despite the fact that Tel Aviv failed to secure the release of the hostages taken by the Palestinian Hamas movement during the attack on October 7 last year. But most Israelis blame Benjamin Netanyahu for this fact.

It is worth noting that, by decision of the Israeli Prime Minister, the new head of the country's military department is now the now former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Israel Katz, who previously held the posts of minister of a number of departments - from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Intelligence.

The ex-minister insisted on conscription into the army of ALL citizens who have reached the draft age.
For example, what the Orthodox disagreed with was that prison was better than the army.

In my opinion, there is a difference - the Jewish Minister of Defense thinks more about the country/army, which is why he entered into disagreements with Netanyahu, whose head was blown off because of holding on to the prime minister's seat...
With Shoigu the story is completely different...

“Fundamentally different” is not for me to evaluate Shoigu as the Minister of Defense.
I have to deal with the Emergencies Ministry at work. An old Emergencies Ministry officer lives opposite my stepfather, he was the head of the city Emergencies Ministry headquarters. He said that S.K. created a wonderful rescue structure. In the West, they copied it to one degree or another. He disgraced himself at the MO post.
Veryn's son, this explains that Shoigu is not a career military man, but a half-jacket, graduated from the military department.
It's not up to me to decide, I'm just a senior sergeant in the medical service.
Preferably, the opinion of those fighting or serving. How do they assess the Shoigu phenomenon?

Gerasimov was called nothing less than the commander. And Shoigu was good-naturedly called the sovereign's eye under Gerasimov, but in an evil way...

"March of Justice" in Israeli style. The Orthodox have money for this action.

I told you so! Bibi doesn't need a victory - he needs a huge upheaval to fight off corruption charges and stay in his chair. His wife appointed Katz as Minister of Defense, and Katz suggests surrendering.
    Sincerely

Galant was not popular with either the left or the right.
He is neither fish nor fowl.
But everything Bibi does provokes protests from a small but vocal group of far-leftists.
Who are trying to overthrow the government at any cost and under any pretext.

Israel as a whole is a hostage to Netanyahu's policy. He needs a war. So they won't be left without a Minister of Defense, but the conflict will only flare up.
