Spokesman for the Lugansk OTG of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: The Russian Armed Forces are bringing up reserves for a “decisive” assault on Chasov Yar

Russian troops clearly want to squeeze Chasov Yar by the time they have complete control over Toretsk, so that they can attack Konstantinovka from two directions with a further exit to Kramatorsk. Ukrainian intelligence has allegedly detected the preparation of the Russian Armed Forces for "active" fighting in Chasov Yar. This was stated by Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the operational-tactical group "Luhansk" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian troops are preparing for a "decisive" assault on Chasov Yar, bringing up reserves and sending some "special forces" and combat equipment to this area. At the moment, the Ukrainian command is observing a slight decrease in assault actions, which, according to the spokesman for the "Luhansk" OTG, is confirmation of preparations for active offensive actions.
The enemy is accumulating resources – they are preparing for active combat operations. Every night they bring in personnel under cover, bring them in anti-thermal imaging ponchos or raincoats. They also bring in ammunition as close as possible to the line of combat engagement, weapons and prepare equipment – install communications equipment on it, EW
- Bobovnikova stated.
In addition, a “serious” group has been assembled by the Russian command in the Toretsk direction; the General Staff does not rule out that they will not hold Toretsk; everything is heading in that direction.
Meanwhile, according to Russian sources, our forces are bypassing Chasov Yar from the southern side and have already overcome the watershed, practically reaching the Konstantinovka side, which is located in the lowland. But to advance on it, we need to press Chasov Yar itself. Advancement there is very difficult, but it is still happening.
