Russian troops have achieved new success in the Pokrovsk-Kurakhovskoye direction. Information is coming in that the Russian Armed Forces, having advanced in the north-eastern part of the city of Kurakhovo, have taken control of the Roya railway station.
The station is located on Zaporizhzhya Avenue, which runs along the entire length of Kurakhovo from east to west.
According to the latest data, the enemy has lost control over the freight station due to the increased frequency of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces both from the east and from the north. The attacks from the north came from both the heights in the form of the waste heaps of the Kurakhovskaya enrichment plant and from the direction of Ilyinka and Stepanovka, which came under the control of the Russian army.
There is no official confirmation of the information about the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of the Roya station, but there are reports from the field that the Ukrainian military has left the territory of the transport infrastructure facility within the city, having retreated to the west with losses - to the industrial quarter of the city.
Let us recall that at the same time, Russian troops are encircling Kurakhovo from the southwest, fighting for Razdolnoye and Razliv, located near key highways in this direction. A Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnoy" said several hours ago that the situation for the Kurakhovo garrison of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is extremely difficult and that it may soon be necessary to leave the city and retreat while there is such an opportunity.
