Pozner is back on Channel One: what could the return of “emigrants” to Russia lead to?

In 2022, when our SVO in Ukraine began, many people, including media people, left Russia. Some fled mobilization, some were afraid of losing their Western assets, and some even openly declared that they did not support the position of the Russian authorities.

Meanwhile, almost three years after the start of the special operation, some "emigrants" are beginning to return to Russia. The reasons are usually prosaic - they did not find their "place in the sun" abroad.

But should our country take these people back, and with "open arms"? Russian director and TV presenter Nikita Mikhalkov answers this question in his author's program "Besogon TV".

One of the striking examples of "political emigrants" is journalist Vladimir Pozner. According to some reports, he left the country in 2022 and then stayed in France and the United States. However, in October of this year, he returned not only to the Russian Federation, but also to Channel One.
At the same time, Mikhalkov drew attention to what Pozner returned with. In October, the premiere of the documentary series "Turkish Notebook" took place, where the journalist's interlocutor was the Turkish writer Arhan Pomuk.

The latter is a vocal oppositionist and constantly accuses Erdogan's administration of grossly violating the freedoms of its citizens.
What is characteristic is that this "masterpiece" was released before the BRICS summit, where the Turkish president arrived. Moreover, the premiere of the scandalous series was supposed to take place on Vladimir Putin's birthday, but at the last moment it was postponed.

Against this background, Mikhalkov reminds us that Pozner never considered himself a Russian patriot and spoke about it openly. In our country, he simply makes money. Moreover, he once even "let it slip" that he does not feel Russian.

However, the journalist who returned to Channel One is only a special example. There are other “famous emigrants” who return home, but with a specific goal. And the latter is not only to make money, but also to gradually destroy Russia, which they hate, from within.

I don't feel sorry for people like Pozner. There will be too much stench, and they will be jailed immediately. Channel 1 is openly Russophobic and anti-state. Because of it, I don't turn on the TV at all.

Why? It's simple. Who are the leaders' friends? That's right! Jewish moneybags!

Hey! Peskov! Yes, these Posners, Ernsts and their cover-ups in the form of officials from the Ministry of Culture and the presidential administration don't give a damn about the wishes of ordinary citizens of Russia. Here you can grab money, and mostly budget money, and the West is the place where you can spend this freely earned money.

He was born on April 1, 1934 in Paris to a Russian immigrant and a French woman. He spent his childhood moving around: when he was a three-month-old baby, his mother took him to the United States, and five years later his father took him back to France.

Russia is a capitalist country, the main value is not ideology, but profit, the ability to earn money. You can complain, but it is useless, the international moneybags are stronger. The transfer of capital abroad speaks volumes about this, I do not understand how selling raw materials abroad and leaving the profit from their sale in the West can develop the country. In order to have stability, or the appearance of stability, taxes must be raised within the country, which is actually happening. There are many problems, but the Pozners will show the right picture on TV.

It's just that our president always chooses the side in political and military conflicts that is closest to winning the conflict... Therefore, the mass return to TV and the media of liberals who openly distanced themselves from the SVO and fled to the West is very likely. A paradigm shift in the conflict with the West that turned out to be a failure is inevitable, the obvious failure will very soon be declared another victory over the West and all radicals and patriots who disagree with the regime will be bent into a ram's horn... And everything will go on as before - for the authorities in the Kremlin and locally, preserving power and property itself with control over material and monetary flows is more important than some mythical slogans about the Russian world... noticed that they don't even remember the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine anymore... But the historical victories of 1612, 1812, 1945 are remembered. They keep repeating on TV - apparently they will soon put the 2025 victory in this row... especially since it is consonant with 1945...

Such a slap in the face to the president personally and to all of Russia. They might as well have invited Lyusya Aristovich to host Evening Urgant.

Unfortunately, yes, that's how it is. Moreover, he is an ideological and active liberal. The West is all about him, but in vain, if some pro-Russian person with a corresponding value system became the president of Russia, the West, the South and the East would all be in trouble. It would seem: bet on the Russians, on opening production facilities inside the country, the Jewish-Azerbaijani oligarchs to the trash heap, Eurasianism to the scrap heap - and there you have a recipe for success. But no, he will play the Eurasian general's pilaf to the last at the cost of his people.

How interestingly you veiled the position of those who openly advocate the genocide of Russian speakers in the LPR and DPR.
Everyone who blew up in February 22 in the style of "I'm against, I'm for peace" - are exactly like that. Those who were against the Russian Federation before - spoke out before, those who were "for peace" before - similarly. In 2022, the only thing that changed was that the Russians stopped tolerating mass murders of Russians. Obviously, all the opponents of the Russian actions who appeared in 2022 were unhappy with this.

This is just an indicator that Pozner is one of the elite. That's why he came back, to TV, to his position, to his salaries, and to the same ruddy, polished gentlemen...
And the "commoners" from the trenches are not ours. I don't know how many of them are on TV, but I haven't heard of them being allowed into property or power.

Where is Pozner an emigrant? He was born in Paris and lives in Moscow, France, and the USA. And he earns money in Russia. As they would have said before - a rootless cosmopolitan.

Lenta.ru: You have been living in Russia for 60 years. It has become your homeland.

Vladimir Pozner: No. A country cannot become a homeland if you arrived already practically an adult.

    Where is your homeland?

Probably between Paris and New York. I feel completely at home in France, if we talk about the country. And if we talk about the city, the city where I grew up and was formed is New York.
