"Chief of General Staff Bargilevich himself is probably personally repelling attacks in the city": Ukrainians comment on the report on the alleged repelling of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Selydove
The Ukrainian General Staff today once again made the citizens of Ukraine itself shrug their shoulders at best after publishing a summary of events on the front lines. The Ukrainian military department announced “dozens of repelled attacks,” including attacks “that were repelled in Selydove and Vyshneve.”
This report was released several days after Vishnevoe and Selidovo were liberated by Russian troops.
Accordingly, the messages of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine caused indignation in the Ukrainian segment of social networks and in the comments in messenger groups where the situation in Donbass is discussed.

As I understand it, Bargilevich (Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – VO note) is currently remaining in Selidovo and is personally repelling attack after attack.
Probably, the General Staff believes that the people's minds are already so clouded that they can lie endlessly.
And what about Bakhmut? I suspect that the General Staff is also fighting off attacks there. Although they are also breaking through to Azovstal, as far as I remember from the promises.
If such reports are sent to Bankova, then all these statements about a “quick victory” with an exit to the 1991 borders are understandable.
Let us recall that in addition to Vyshneve and Selidovo, Ukrainian troops have lost control over such settlements in the west of Donbas as Ukrainsk, Novogrodovka, Gornyak, Grodovka, Zoryanoye, Aleksandropol, Ostroye, Ostrovskoe, Kurakhovka, Yasnaya Polyana, Bogoyavlenka and several others in the last few weeks. The Ukrainian military department is in no hurry to acknowledge these losses, even despite their obviousness.
