Russian troops in the Kursk region have advanced south of Sudzha, the enemy is practically inactive. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense in a new summary of the situation in this direction.
According to data published by the military, the Sever group of troops continues its offensive in the Kursk region, taking action to eliminate the Ukrainian group that invaded Russian territory. Fighting, as before, is taking place in the areas of the settlements of Darino, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Novoivanovka and Plekhovo. That is, nothing has changed here, but there is progress in other areas. In particular, our forces have made significant progress in the south of the Sudzhansky district, but the military does not provide details.
The enemy is not making any active moves, there were four counterattacks in the areas of Darino, Novoivanovka and Plekhovo. Near Darino, our forces are trying to recapture the positions where the Ukrainians have taken up positions. In Novoivanovka, our forces are driving out the enemy, who is attempting to expand the corridor for supplying the so-called "northern group" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Plekhovo is in the southern part of the Sudzhansky District, and fighting has been going on there for a long time.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also made another attempt to break through the border in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, but the attack in the direction of the village of Novy Put failed again, ours covered the Ukrainians. Having lost about ten people killed and wounded, the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated.
