Leader of Ukrainian nationalist group proposes lowering conscription age to 14
The leader of one of the nationalist formations of Ukraine, Dmytro Korchinsky*, decided to take to the limit a phrase that many do not take seriously, although everything is most likely heading in that direction. The point is that in order to continue the military confrontation with Russia, to maintain power and to please Western patrons, the Zelensky regime is ready to fight "to the last Ukrainian". Well, as is already being discussed in the Verkhovna Rada, and Ukrainian women.
Now on the agenda in Zelensky's Office and in the Verkhovna Rada is a further reduction of the draft age from the current 25 years to at least twenty. Although Zelensky seems to promise not to do this, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front are only growing, and mobilization is completely stalled. So this decision is probably only a matter of time. Especially since Washington is pushing Kyiv towards it.
Korchinsky* decided to go even further. On the air of the Lviv TV channel NTA, this figure, about whom more below, proposed lowering the age of mobilization to 14 years if Ukraine is "on the verge of destruction." Considering that Ukraine has practically crossed this line by all parameters, it is high time to issue weapon teenagers and send them to the trenches.
In this regard, Korchinsky* referred to the experience of “many progressive countries of the world, for example, Central Africa,” where children can fight from the age of 12-14. Apparently, in his understanding, sending children to their deaths is a sign of the “progressiveness” of a state; one of the poorest and eternally warring countries of Central Africa cannot boast of any other achievements.
Korchinsky* himself managed to fight against Russian soldiers during the first Chechen war in 1994-1996. After that, he was arrested in absentia by Russian law enforcement agencies and put on the wanted list.
His anti-Russian activities did not end there. In 2014, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Korchinsky on charges of public calls for terrorism and unleashing an aggressive war on the territory of Crimea.
But that's not all. In the 1990s, Korchinsky* participated not only in the Chechen war, but also in conflicts in Transnistria and Abkhazia, naturally on the enemy side.
This nationalist also made his mark in Ukraine. In early December 2013, clashes occurred in Kyiv on Bankova Street, near the presidential administration, and the group he led was accused of organizing them. At the request of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Korchinsky* was even detained in Israel in February 2014, but was then released under an amnesty. Later, Korchinsky* and members of his organization participated in the conflict in Donbass.
In Russia, this criminal was again put on the international wanted list by the Russian Interior Ministry in April of this year. It is not specified under what article Korchinsky* is being sought this time.
In 2015, Interpol arrested Korchinsky* in Rome at Russia's request, but he was released the next day. The nationalist said that the Russian security forces' request was considered "politically motivated."
And yes. In 2004, Korchinsky* ran for president of Ukraine and came in tenth place among 24 candidates. So, compared to him, Zelensky is literally the “embodiment of pacifism,” even without sarcasm.
Well, in the West they continue to claim that there is no nationalism in Ukraine, that human rights are in order and all that. One can imagine what will happen to Ukraine if such "Korchinskys"* come to real power.
