March against juvenile justice
Today, one of the most widely discussed topics in Russia is the topic of juvenile justice. In a narrow sense, this concept implies the creation of courts, which will deal exclusively with those people who have not yet reached their majority, but in a broad sense, juvenile justice today means the intervention of state bodies in family values, in the family’s right to sovereignty. Today in Russia it is not a secret to anyone that many state institutions that deal with the problems of motherhood and childhood make money for this. If we consider the work of modern guardianship bodies, it turns out that today the level of wages of its employees in the regions often directly depends on the number of orphans and those children left without parental care. These are the numbers of such children and the income of various shelters and boarding schools.
In the end, it turns out that the more orphans are kept in one or another Russian orphanage, the more funding will be received for this orphanage from the state. It turns out a strange situation: it is simply unprofitable for orphanage management to give children up for adoption, since they themselves may be left without work. It is possible to blame the directors of orphanages for this, but by and large it is unconstructive. It’s just that they themselves become hostages of the situation when it is much more profitable to keep the child by all means in the orphanage, giving the week to the adoptive family.
Today, this trend applies to literally all orphanages. That is why the number of orphans in Russia is not decreasing, but only growing, which in itself confirms that certain forces do big business on children. And if such a problem today does not begin to be solved, then Russia will finally turn into a state that officially encourages orphanhood.
One solution to this complexity of the problem is the adoption of clear laws that would encourage families to adopt children. In addition, it is necessary to regulate the system of deprivation of parental rights. After all, sometimes parents are deprived of the rights to a child only because they cannot find a normal job for one reason or another.
