Russian military spotted two German Leopard tanks from the air and destroyed them in a forest belt

In the vicinity of the village of Vodolaghi in Sumy region, Russian military personnel discovered from the air and destroyed two German tanks in a forest belt tank Leopard. The equipment belonged to the 21st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Messages about this appeared on the Internet.

Aerial reconnaissance was doing its usual work over the enemy's rear. They were trying to find targets for rocket strike the enemy target - mainly multiple launch rocket systems.

Suddenly, in one of the forest plantations, the "drone operators" saw the outlines of two German-made Leopard tanks. This was a great success, since it was extremely rare to find two units of such equipment at once.

The tanks were believed to be heading to the Kursk region, but were prevented from reaching their destination by a Russian missile strike. Both combat vehicles were burned, and the crew did not survive.

At the moment, the actions of Russian troops in the Kursk region can be described as successful. In particular, this is evidenced by the destruction of encircled Ukrainian units in the area of the border settlement of Lyubimovka. This development of events once again demonstrates that the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the region was an adventure.

The failure of Kyiv's plans regarding the Kursk region is also indicated by the large losses in the Ukrainian group that invaded the region. In the two months since the beginning of the invasion, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost approximately 22 thousand of their servicemen and about two thousand units of equipment.

Drones are good, but what kind of drones were used to burn the Leopards?

The more different birds, the better. Developers from the Tula region have transferred new innovative kamikaze drones "Ovod" to the special operation zone. These drones have a machine vision function, as well as a self-destruction system and a multi-stage protection system, the People's Front reported.

"The drone is equipped with a special algorithm that allows it to capture contrast pixels and aims to collide with them. It works like this: when the operator sees a target through the glasses, he presses a button on the control panel, and after that the aircraft flies there autonomously. It is not affected by third-party electronic countermeasures, and is not affected by violations of radio visibility. Thus, the combat mission is carried out more effectively," TASS writes, citing the developer. The organization clarified that the drone is also equipped with a remote detonation function. In total, the first batch included about four thousand drones.

Judging by the power of the explosion(s), it is not a drone. Something much more powerful.
Really, what did they hit you with so well?

Tornado-S as an option. Although it is possible that it was an X-38 aircraft missile, and the drone illuminated the target.

I am very pleased with the speed of response to target detection and designation. And of course, the accuracy of the hit.

And what about the Kh-MD-E (Product 85), specially developed for use with UAVs? The weight of the missile with a 30 kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead is 110 kg. The declared maximum range of target destruction is 40 km. The same Inokhodets could well have used it.

As Shariy says, the bitches in Kursk were given the order to prepare for retreat. It would be good not to let them all fall into the black soil!

On October 15, 1959, Stepan Bandera, the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists*, was killed in the entrance to his own home in Munich. KGB agent Bohdan Stashynsky shot him with an ampoule of potassium cyanide.

Every day there are videos of successful use of the Inokhodets in the Kursk region. I wonder if it works on targets of the Kh-MD-E (Product-85) according to the performance characteristics it is a Russian Heillfaier or still an Kh-UAV (modification of the Kornet). The Kh-MD-E works at a distance of up to 40 km, there is a larger warhead of 30 kg, so it is probably more expensive, but more promising.
It is worth noting that according to technical specifications, the weight of the missile with a 30 kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead is 110 kg. The declared maximum range of target destruction is 40 km.
