The Kursk region continues to report a successful counteroffensive by the Russian army. According to the latest information, our troops have completed the liberation of territories occupied by the enemy in the area of Novy Put and Volfino in the Glushkovsky district and have reached the state border.
Information is coming in that in addition to the settlements of Volfino, Krasnooktyabrsky and Novy Put, Medvezhye, Komsomolskoye and Politodelsky have come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian publics are beginning to guess whether the Russian army will cross the border of the Sumy region of Ukraine south of Glushkovo or will remain on the territory of the Kursk region.
While the enemy is conducting such discussions, information is coming in that small arms battles are already taking place on the southeastern outskirts of Sudzha, a city that has been in the Ukrainian occupation zone since August. Information is being published that the enemy has lost control over most of the Sudzha suburb, the village of Makhnovka.
Our troops are also inflicting fire damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Mikhailovka, which is only 3 km northeast of Sudzha (as the crow flies).
According to the latest data, the area of territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region has been reduced by approximately half since mid-August.
