"They attached an IED to a freight train": a terrorist attack was prevented at the main railway station of Yaroslavl

A terrorist attack was prevented at the Yaroslavl-Glavny railway station last Saturday. Unknown persons planted an explosive device under the bottom of a fuel tank. The IED was discovered during an inspection of the train.

As reported by the SHOT Telegram channel, a freight train with 61 carriages arrived at the Yaroslavl railway station on October 5 at around eight o'clock in the morning. During the inspection, railway employees discovered a homemade explosive device with wires under the bottom of the 47th carriage.

Law enforcement officers, bomb experts and dog handlers were urgently called to the scene. The composition was fully examined. No other suspicious objects were found.

The homemade explosive device was destroyed on the spot. The security forces managed to do it in such a way that no detonation occurred. None of the freight train cars were damaged. An investigation is currently underway into this incident, and a number of examinations have been ordered.

According to preliminary information, the explosive device installed under the bottom of the tank was homemade and filled with low-mass explosives. It can be assumed with a high degree of probability that the secret services of the Kyiv regime are behind the organization of the possible terrorist act.

The perpetrators were probably either Russian citizens recruited by the GUR or SBU, or Ukrainian refugees who sympathize with the Kyiv regime.

It is worth noting that after the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, cases of damage or destruction of railway infrastructure were recorded in different regions of the Russian Federation. As a rule, relay cabinets were set on fire.

Russian security forces managed to prevent numerous terrorist attacks.

And how I wish such IEDs would explode more often on the "Ukrainian Zaliznytsia". And if blowing up bridges over the Dnieper or the Southern Bug is a big problem, then blowing up a train on a bridge while it is moving... Is this a problem for modern saboteurs?
But we hardly hear about such actions in Ukraine, and why? Is Sudoplatov missing? After all, you don’t even need to have a detachment of Kovpak or Medvedev in the rear for this.

then blow up a train on a bridge while it's moving...

Now this is spot on. Remember how they blew up the Crimean Bridge... They blamed it on some truck and the carelessness of the "inspectors"... And no one paid attention to the train with tanks - they "covered it up"... Did anyone see a missile in Novo-Fedorovka, at the airfield with the "strategists" in Crimea? A beach full of people... And an explosion. Like - "they were smoking in the wrong place"... That's the whole story.
But the echelon was the main goal. So that it would explode, not the spans of the bridge... The departure time from the neighboring station, the arrival time at the "coordinate point", the arrival time of the missile that "no one saw", even the surveillance cameras (and they couldn't - the speed of one and the frame rate of the others simply do not allow this). Accuracy is the main thing, and with this Ukrainians we screwed up... And Ukrainians Did they induce it?
Guys, I say this because I KNOW what I'm talking about... As a former sergeant of the 1st CLASS Air Defense ACS. And I know what "extrapolation" is. I personally guided, in Sary-Shagan... the S-200, the interceptor pilots' "front hemisphere." to the "rear hemisphere," "under the parameter." For which the Air Defense Commander-in-Chief, Air Marshal A.I. Koldunov, shook my hand, a conscript sergeant. There, in the steppe, at the position (by the way, we also "guided" his helicopter from the "Vector" - you never know?). We didn't have "partners" there - there was a "potential enemy." Out of 2 years of service - 2 training grounds in Sary-Shagan, each for six months in the steppe, in tents. We were looking for a "cure" against their cruise missiles in West Germany... We found one.

With all due respect to your service in the air defense in Sary Shagan, why come up with a missile attack on a train with tanks instead of the bridge itself?
I can still believe that the remote demolition expert successfully spied the simultaneous movement of this train parallel to the mined truck and pressed the button at the right time. The shrapnel from the truck pierced the fuel tanks and it turned out to be a "twix" - two in one.
For some reason, not a single missile with a conventional warhead known to us has caused the collapse of two spans of a huge bridge, but a simple hole in the roadway. An example of this is the bridge in Zatoka, where about a dozen of our missiles have flown in over two years, and it still stands and works.

Perhaps, Alexander... Your version has a right to exist. I say this as a former ACS operator-gunner... This is my version, as a "gunner" - I view all terrorist attacks, even failed ones, through this prism... Another explanation simply does not come to mind...
On the other hand - what if this is not a "homemade" device? and the explosion on the bridge over the Volga was planned? The question is - how?

Victor, why doesn't it occur to me to consider the blowing up of the Crimean Bridge through the prism of a submariner, which I once was? Otherwise I would have come up with a torpedo attack... lol

A person of sound mind and sober memory would not come to such conclusions. So, in your opinion, the kakels thought - screw the bridge, let it stand, the tanks are a more valuable strategic target, and they threw all their intelligence forces into fighting the kerosene tank. And the two damaged spans are just an unplanned side effect.

If they could control the explosion site, they would have detonated it on a shipping lane, and it would take tens of times longer and be more expensive to restore it, and they would have closed all navigation, as huge volumes of cargo are transported there.

It is unlikely that a couple of processes will be able to bring anyone to their senses. For thirty years, young people have been told that the measure of your success is the amount of money you have, your latest iPhone, a cool car and a penthouse. And no one cares how you achieve this. And the idols of youth now are not Oleg Koshevoy and Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, but Dania Milokhin and Olga Buzova. There is no idea, no morality in the youth, no goal, except for enrichment at any cost. So they burn cabinets, helicopters, military registration and enlistment offices. Now they have reached the oil tankers of the railways. And it will only increase further, fortunately, "effective managers" "optimized" everything possible on the railway, including security.

There will always be traitors, that's true, it's only a question of concentration and the measures applied to them. They were present during the Great Patriotic War, but there were kilometer-long queues at military registration and enlistment offices, and the entire country, including the economy and culture, worked for victory, worked in the system, and now it's a matter of understanding enthusiasts, who also always exist and will exist, but it's a question of their concentration. Judging by the cases in the Kursk region, the concentration is insufficient. The authorities' prevarications and unwillingness to help even these people in a real way is a separate conversation, although it also rests on punitive and educational measures.

It is possible, but I will tell you this, that living far from the Simferopol railway station, I know where the weak part of the railway is without being a railway specialist, a train passed and I saw it. It takes about an hour to get there, so to speak, and I can guarantee that if you break a rail, the train will fly away with a whistle. Why am I talking about this calmly, because fortunately it is possible, the supply is carried out mainly by cars, and if by railway, then Simferopol has nothing to do with it.
And check all the rented apartments, and how do you find out how many of them to begin with, you can put all the detectives on the alert, but you can't do it across the entire railroad. Here you don't need to catch them red-handed, but conduct operational work and first of all put the district police officers on their ears, it doesn't matter where the apartment was rented, you can come to the railroad. The private sector can be practically brushed aside, everyone is in full view of each other there, it's enough hassle in high-rise buildings.
And regarding the view, what prevents you from getting to the roof and renting an apartment from the other side? Not the last road passes by my windows, 4 entrances out of 11 look at it, what prevents you from moving from the roof of one entrance to another?

"With a view of the railroad" is not an option. How many people rent out apartments without registration? The neighbors don't care, they are like that themselves, and the owners want money paid on time and that's it, and the rest: "go to hell."
Even in WWII, saboteurs rented apartments and did not register! I read the documents: in Samara, they stabbed a millionaire's girlfriend: she walked around and figured out: who rented out the housing and to whom

It's like - a girl with a million in her pocket wandered around the housing stock for the marginal public with fiscal purposes? An interesting pastime, but the ending is expected. hi

Here, experts are really funny in the comments: they don't even suspect that in Russia there are actually two police forces: transport and land. There was a third one before the reforms of the Lord of Winter Time - the regime, but it was depulped. As a result, Baikonur is now listed as part of the Moscow Region, such a funny fart-monocle.

So the transport workers report to their boss at the level of deputy minister, they don't give a damn about the earthly multi...um...from orbital orbit. They don't even have district police officers, only platform officers. The earthly ones don't give a damn about the transport entanglements, what can I say: there was a case where corpses were dragged from the railway and back several times. On the subject of determining territorial jurisdiction.
So it's all complicated, in fact, this destructive phenomenon can only be fought with extensive methods: increasing the number of guards and technical means at railway transport facilities. This has already happened - on the North Caucasus Federal District railway, where tracks were blown up every week.

Fair enough. In 2004, the Kirov clothing market was blown up there, right next to the railway tracks. 10 people died, about 70 were injured. It's not funny. I gave an example that in WWII, not everyone was vigilant.
I do not rule out that police girls died in other regions. Vlad 2 claims that it was in Saratov. And I think it was Samara. Also, a street on the outskirts of the city is named after this girl.

It happens, it's part of life. winked I remember when I was serving a five-year sentence in the water police in the 90s - a patrolwoman near the lock was also attacked, her back was stabbed with sharpened objects - but she survived. They took away the pestle, they sold well at the market back then.

And another one - a boar ran up to her at night, within the city limits. She hid in some technical booth, and the boar began to dig a tunnel with clearly hostile goals. The alarm group called by radio both shone their headlights on him and scared him with a siren - the animal did not calm down. People crawled out of the surrounding high-rise buildings to the noise, became curious, the boar did not like this hype - only then did he stop his destructive and terrorist activity and ran off into the darkness.

Katya, I think there was something about this on TV, but not in Samara or Saratov.

Yes, there are plenty of our own too. Take the so-called "cultural environment", even there, if not performers, then potential awaiters crowd, which does not thin out without any irreplaceable specialists from Central Asia, at least for now.

If some are arrested for money laundering (like Zakharchenko from the FSB), others "Timur and his team" from the Ministry of Defense for fantastic theft, then we see a logical result - SVO on tanks, attacks on oil depots both in the border area and in the deep rear, a "failure" in the Kursk region, which has not yet been eliminated. But now the main problem for the President's press secretary and the Minister of Foreign Affairs is quad bikes. Everything is going as it should, in dynamics hi

Specifically with quadrobers the story is not so simple, it is not a game, it is a change of self-identification like a sex change. A recent case in a veterinary clinic in Serpukhov is good evidence of this. Otherwise I agree.

I completely agree. This is from the same series: drugs, LGBT and a complete reformatting of a young, immature brain, the consequences of liberalism and other delights of the 90s. Brainless youths, ready for the promise in messengers of God knows who and large and small sums of money to burn relay cabinets, helicopters, airplanes... To trade everything that in their opinion is for sale. The state needs show trials with broadcasts of these individuals, maybe this will save at least someone from the consequences.

Excuse me, "Timur and his team", I think there is a movie like that? Mom and stepfather were recalling some episode and arguing.
          I haven't watched it and I don't know.

It could have been a minor stupid person, who did not have enough money for a new game console, it could have been an alcoholic, a drug addict, these are the prime candidates, they just need to get a fix. An acquaintance spent time in a pretrial detention center, the court acquitted him, they brought them in a funnel 17 people, blood test, 15 were taken from themselves, sticking a syringe is a common thing and they were taken not for drug cases in general, but in search of money for drugs.

Remember recently a whole network of anti-Russian kids were captured and even earlier two guys, 15-16 years old, cheerfully going "on a mission" to burn down an electrical panel. They don't look like drug addicts. Quite well-fed and quite prosperous in appearance.

I don’t remember, to be honest, but I’ll take your word for it, it’s also an option, it’s an adventure for them, I punched my own guy in the face when I decided to steal metal from a construction site for the sake of adventure, I wanted my own money.

IED under the bottom... smile And the composition was formed at the Dno station lol That's what they write. And the description of the explosive device is something else altogether... Some earn ratings, others stars... A pathetic farce.

Attached a SVU to a freight train
I appeal to the author of this illiterate article. Firstly, it was not a train, but a train. Secondly, it was not a freight train, but a cargo train. When you write about something, have basic knowledge of what you are writing about.

    Good health to all.
What amused me was: "With a high degree of probability... The special services of the Kyiv regime are standing there" who else. Postman Pechkin? Or were they playing war?
I was in school in the 90s and we had a bunch of idiots: they wrapped a pea can with wires and tied it to the door handle, and then rang the bell: "they mined it."
In honey, someone, a punk from under the paint, smeared something and hid in the accounting department. "Mine". The dog handlers arrived and the dog was led by the smell.
We thought it was really a mine.
A friend of mine had her fur coat stolen, she ran out of the accounting department and forgot her fur coat

We usually get an anonymous call saying "they planted a bomb". Then the police got tired of the "miners" and started installing devices that would determine where the calls were coming from. A youth newspaper reported on this. The last "miner" was caught like that. He reported that KubSU had been mined, he didn't want to take the test, they found him out and fined him: ""don't cry, mom" after that. The "miners" disappeared like mammoths

When will our President finally decide to introduce the death penalty in Russia for attempted sabotage and terrorist acts? Isn't the massacre at Crocus, the explosions on the railway, the planes at the airfields enough for him? What else does he need, at the nuclear power plant?

An engineer's thought: in my opinion, it is necessary to supplement the methods of combating such a phenomenon with such a proactive moment: develop appropriate manuals (many and different) on how to access enemy resources and expose yourself to recruitment (from left accounts), issue them to cadets of military schools (as practical classes in political training), simply to concerned citizens, and, ultimately, to well-written bots, and conduct a mass "radio game" with the goal of luring out information, money, connections, addresses, passwords, calls, etc.
What we will get in the end:
    1. The real villains will be lost in the vastly superior mass of applications from fake performers.
    2. It will be extremely difficult for foreign curators to filter out the people they need.
    3. If circumstances are favorable, the IEDs, weapons, ammunition and planted Cossack women will be identified and neutralized before they are used.
It is also possible to transport the same relay cabinet (imitation) to different places, set it on fire, photograph it, restore it, and so on in a circle, receiving some money and thus saving the freedom and life of fools...
Overall, it’s a simple procedure with a decent potential result.

Calm down, calm down. The so-called SVU turned out to be a dummy. I can say that for sure.
But who attached it? It could have been saboteurs, to test the possibility of driving a mined train into the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery, since it is impossible to attack it with drones due to the well-organized air defense. Or our competent authorities could have hung it up to check the reaction of the relevant services. I don’t know. Since the train was formed in the Pskov Region, and the IED was discovered only in Yaroslavl, organizational conclusions should follow.

The SVU carries out terrorist acts only on the territory of the KTR it considers its own. For example, in Crimea. They consider this to be sabotage work during wartime.
If terrorist attacks are carried out inside Russia, against civilians, then the world will consider Ukraine a terrorist country and may stop helping it.
I think the bomb is the work of local Russian activists - saboteurs. Since the beginning of their time, more than 2 million people have come from Ukraine. Not all of them like Russia.
