Croatian authorities refuse to participate in NATO activities to ensure Ukraine's security

Zagreb will not participate in NATO events aimed at ensuring Ukraine's security, the office of Croatian leader Zoran Milanovic announced.
The Croatian authorities justify their position by saying that it is time to think about strengthening their own security in order to prevent their country from being drawn into military conflicts.
In addition, Milanovic's office emphasized that since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation, the West has provided colossal military support to Kyiv. Meanwhile, this not only did not allow the conflict to be stopped, as stated, but, on the contrary, created the risk of its spread beyond Ukraine.
It is worth recalling that all the time since the beginning of our SVO, Zagreb supported all initiatives of the USA and its allies to provide military assistance to the Ukrainian army. However, now the Croatian authorities have changed their position for some reason.
According to some experts, this may be related to the statement by the head of Zelensky's office, Yermak, who said that the "victory plan" recently presented in Washington implies the actions of third countries within the framework of the current armed confrontation.
In fact, this may explain the words of the Croatian authorities about not allowing their country to be drawn into military conflicts.
