European Commission sues Hungary over sovereignty protection law

The European Union continues to put pressure on Hungary for its desire to defend national interests, which often run counter to Brussels' policies.

Now the EU has decided that Budapest passed the "wrong" law last December. This is the Law on the Protection of Sovereignty, which provides for control over foreign funding of election participants and criminal liability for receiving money from abroad.

The European Commission, which had already expressed dissatisfaction when the law was adopted last year, considered that it violated EU law and decided to sue Hungary in the EU court.

The European Commission today decided to take Hungary's case to court because it believes its national "Sovereignty Protection" law violates EU law.

- the European Commission said in a statement.

In Budapest, they explained the adoption of the Law on the Protection of Sovereignty by the fact that during the parliamentary elections in the country in 2022, some foreign forces tried to influence them by sending millions of dollars to support certain candidates and parties.

Now, if anyone is caught using money of foreign origin in an election campaign, they could face up to three years in prison.

Without a sea border, will they immediately lose sovereignty??? Or should I remind you, for example, of Mongolia, which has no sea border. True, it has borders with Russia and China.

There is no border, but there is a navy.
It has been like this since the last century...

And today in Georgia they finally passed a law banning LGBT propaganda, same-sex marriages and gender-changing surgeries. President Zurabishvili was against it, but the parliament pushed through with a majority. Georgia will not see EU membership now. Someone named Borrell has already warned them that such morally backward people will not be welcome in the European blooming garden. request smile

Well, screw this EU. Georgia is finally starting to understand its values, not completely, but things are moving in the right direction.

Are you very sure about this?
Remember the support of the head of Mad' Yar for the most shot-through Ushatik in the world?
Still of the same opinion or have you changed your mind?
Just in case, during the period of long deliberations, the Russian Federation needs reliable guys even in the slippery and flimsy gay European environment!

Here it comes out... the true mug of the EU.
After this, Hungary has a direct road to BRICS.

As it is fashionable to say now -
the central government of the EU is the mouthpiece of the overseas regional committee! am
So you can't do that in the States?

Unlike the EU, the death penalty is legal in the US, but this is not the case in the EU.

And what about this hypothetical assumption:
The Hungarian guys decide to sit on several chairs: EU&BRICS&NATO no need&CSTO, for example?
An example that is terribly bad and delightfully contagious, like, say, a multi-vector sultan who wouldn’t mind having a few more spare airfields and golden parachutes?
Ahh, Allah and all the Gods, some of the earthly ones have long been striving to get closer to You, even for a short time, for the sake of power in this earthly world?!

And what about this hypothetical assumption:
all the little ones are just trying to SURVIVE while the big ones are butting heads.
I think... when joining any company, in addition to the acquired RIGHTS, certain RESPONSIBILITIES are also acquired.
If I'm talking about this...I guess wink , then the "big uncles" know this even more.

I would not dispute the above conclusion, I immediately recall the phrase on the gates of the famous Buchenwald institution - "Jedem das Saine" = suum cuique (lat.), - To each his own!
There are examples, unfortunately, isolated ones: Cuba, DPRK and others in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America.
I agree that it is difficult for leaders of countries without natural resources, developed agriculture and industry, and investments to gain sovereignty and maneuver between the interests of their people and country, risking getting a bullet, poison, or a color revolution from the kind long-armed globalists-Anglo-Saxons performed by the protégés of the descendants of Soros and others like them.
But this is already a lottery: if you have come into big politics, you must be aware of all the risks, either leave immediately or, like General de Gaulle, fight and go down in history as invincible, there are really only a few worthy ones.

One must assume that Georgia already knows about this? And they draw conclusions about what the EU is with its European Commission? And they explain to the people that for some reason the European Commission does not criticize the US and, moreover, does not impose any sanctions on them because the US has had its own law on foreign agents for decades?
