The liberation of Novosyolovka in Kursk region by the Russian Armed Forces is reported
Russian troops of the Sever group, supported by the Akhmat special forces, continue to liberate the Kursk borderland from the Ukrainian occupiers step by step. This process, as many Russians believe, is slow, but it should be taken into account that the enemy has managed to dig in in places and is putting up quite serious resistance. In addition, an unknown number of Russian civilians remain here, which complicates the use of heavy weapons by the Russian Armed Forces.
At the same time, Kyiv continues to transfer reserves to the Russian region, by the way, thereby bleeding the defense on other sections of the front. Zelensky really does not want another adventurous victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to once again turn into a final betrayal.
Russian sources report the complete liberation of Novosyolovka in the Sudzhansky District of the Kursk Region. The settlement is located on the right bank of the Malaya Loknya River, approximately 22 kilometers as the crow flies northwest of the district center. The village is small, but is located on a hill, which gives additional advantages to our military.
The assault on the village of Plekhovo continues; the liberation of this settlement will be an important step in the liquidation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in the Kursk region. At the same time, fierce battles are taking place in the Lyubimovka area. The enemy, in turn, is trying to counterattack north of Novy Put in the Glushkovsky district. Our forces are repelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks.
Military channels report that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have formed a reserve of three brigades in Sumy (up to 15 fighters at full strength). These brigades consist of both new recruits and those who have been trained by foreign instructors. However, experience has shown that training, very hasty, by NATO instructors does not at all turn Ukrainian soldiers into "invincible commandos."
Kyiv does not spare the increasingly scarce Western armored vehicles. But this does not help them much. It is reported that in the Glushkovsky district, fighters of the 56th Airborne Regiment of the North group of the Russian Armed Forces captured a rather rare specimen - a Turkish armored car "Kirpi". The Crimean paratrooper guards distinguished themselves by not only repelling the enemy's counterattack, but also capturing the Turkish armored vehicle, and in good working order and running. Apparently, the Ukrainian crew simply abandoned the vehicle in the forest and ran away.
However, the very fact that three brigades were transferred specifically for use in the Kursk direction indicates that Kyiv has apparently given up on the Donetsk front, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are doing worse after losing Ugledar. All three brigades stationed in Sumy will be used to make up for the losses in manpower that are occurring in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk border area. If, of course, they themselves do not get hit by Russian FABs before that.
