The Russian Armed Forces seized insignia of the elite "Black Zaporozhians" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Ugledar

Evidence continues to come in about the capture of the city of Ugledar in the DPR by Russian troops. Despite the complete disregard for what is happening in this direction on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command and representatives of the Kyiv regime, Russian sources reported the liberation of this settlement yesterday.
In turn, the TG channel "Operation Z: War Correspondents of the Russian Spring" published a photo of trophies that were captured by our soldiers during the battles for Ugledar. In particular, the symbols of the elite 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces named after the "Black Zaporozhians".
Among the trophies were a flag, chevrons and other symbols of Ukrainian militants from the above-mentioned unit. Russian servicemen also found American bulletproof vests and other Western weapons in the former locations of the enemy.
It is worth noting that the decision to withdraw this "elite" brigade was made by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command at the last moment, when the city was already surrounded. As a result, the unit suffered huge losses in manpower and equipment.
Ранее сообщалось, that the “belated” withdrawal of troops from Ugledar was sharply criticized by a Ukrainian officer with the call sign Alex.
What is characteristic is that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has still not officially acknowledged the loss of the settlement. Instead, the city was simply excluded from the daily report.
