Türkiye Develops Hypersonic Missile Based on Tayfun BRMS

Turkish defense concern Roketsan is developing and testing a hypersonic modification of its ballistic missile missiles short-range Tayfun.

As indicated on local resources, the new version of the BRMD is capable of reaching speeds of 5,5 M:

Türkiye has entered the elite group of countries with hypersonic missile technologies.

According to informal classification, missiles with a flight speed of over Mach 5 are considered hypersonic.

Tayfun could operate at a range of 560 km in the early stages of development. However, its flight range is gradually increasing. It is planned to reach 1000 km.

When we start making these missiles, of course, it scares Greece. Greece is very afraid when it comes to Tayfun. Greece says it can hit Athens. Of course, it will.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Retired General Frangoulis Fragos, former Chief of Staff of the Greek Army, indicated that Türkiye is developing a ballistic guided missile capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 2500 km.

As noted by Roketsan, Tayfun not only has high firing accuracy, but is also capable of actively maneuvering during flight, which makes it difficult for the enemy to detect and destroy the missile.

The Sultan is benefiting from NATO membership. There was a time when my mother-in-law, a math teacher at the border, was asked to stay and offered a job as a mathematician in Turkey. That was only 20 years ago. And today, look - they are building hypersonic missiles. Of course, if sanctions like those against us are imposed on them, they will sit at point 5 and again become a tomato-tourist state, but for now they are making the most of it.

I suggest you read it again. 20 years ago, my mother-in-law was asked to stay because they didn't have math teachers. And today they are trying to make a rocket, and a 5 Mach one. If they keep up this pace, what will happen in another 20 years?

My opinion is this. We don't need to interfere in the affairs of Greece and Turkey, the Greeks are messing with us, they supply weapons to the Ukrainians and conduct naval exercises specifically for 5 months, and Greece is used as a transit country.

While masking her own disgust with circumstances beyond her control...
Having been an enemy of Russia for centuries and an ally of the enemy in WWII, it suddenly became white and fluffy, not disdaining to shoot down Russian planes, kill Russian ambassadors and build warships for our enemy...

I don't understand something, the US can't make a hypersonic missile but the Turks can? It's kind of strange.

On "Russian Spring" it's probably a Western fake, but still... "Russia, through Iran's mediation, is negotiating with Yemen's Houthis on the transfer of long-range Onyx anti-ship missiles to them for attacks on Western ships, Reuters claims."

    The Sultan envies the Houthis.
They already have it, and he is just developing it.
And not your own, but "at the base"... Oops!
    Too shy to ask...
If "on the basis", then most likely he is trying not to "develop", but to FINISH.
    The difference is significant.

It is becoming indecent and creepy not to have hypersonic weapons. The EU and the US don't have them, but they do have gay parades!))

Türkiye joins elite group of countries with hypersonic missile technologies

Formally, the V-2 was also a hypersonic missile. But real hypersonics are not about speed, but about maneuvering at this speed. No one has such technologies yet.

It's hard to believe, but M = 5,5 is impressive... There are many nuances - details in hypersonics... There is an assumption that "legs grow" from Antalya, Voyage Belek Golf & Spa or Rixos Premium Belek.... This is relative to the nuances - details... And it is possible that all THIS is a banal "fake".... It happens... When "Bayraktar TB2" does not "go" well on the international arms market...
