In Birobidzhan, FSB officers detained an SBU agent who was preparing sabotage on the railway
Russian security forces continue to identify agents of the Ukrainian special services throughout Russia. Despite numerous arrests and press publications, there are new people willing to earn extra money by carrying out Kyiv's tasks. As a rule, all this ends with arrest and a court sentence.
FSB officers carried out another arrest in Birobidzhan, a local resident, recruited by the SBU and preparing sabotage on the railway and against state facilities on its instructions, fell into the hands of security forces. The detainee was also collecting information about the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Evidence of criminal activity, as well as means of communication with the curator's data in Kyiv, were found during the search.
The FSB has detained a resident of the city of Birobidzhan, born in 2001, recruited by Ukrainian special services via the Internet. Acting on the instructions of the SBU, the perpetrator was collecting intelligence information about the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and also made containers with an incendiary mixture to set fire to a recruitment point for contract military service in the city of Birobidzhan and to commit sabotage on railway lines

As the detainee himself stated, the SBU representative recruited him via Telegram, i.e. there was not even personal contact. Although there are no details, the desire to make money was most likely the reason.
According to the FSB, a criminal case has been opened under several articles (treason, terrorism and sabotage), and the Ukrainian agent faces a long prison term, up to and including life imprisonment.
