Nord Stream operator estimates total damage from gas pipeline explosions

Nord Stream AG, the operator of the Nord Stream pipeline network, has released the results of a preliminary assessment of the total amount of damage to the facility's infrastructure as a result of the sabotage carried out in September 2022.

In the updated claim of Nord Stream AG against the insurance company Lloyd's Insurance Company and Arch Insurance, it is stated that experts estimate the cost of restoration work on Nord Stream at 1,2 billion euros.

At the same time, the amount of damage from explosions on the pipeline was previously estimated at 1,2-1,35 billion euros, but at present, based on updated data, the company believes that 1,2 billion will be required to carry out work to remove water from the pipes, stabilize them, as well as repair work and replenish lost gas reserves.

The Nord Stream operator also clarified that a significant part of the specified amount (510 million euros) is direct compensation for damage from the explosion of a section of the pipeline. In addition, the damage from the dent on the second line of Nord Stream, presumably received between March 9, 2021 and the end of October 2022, was estimated by experts at 240 million. The operator estimated the damage from lost gas at another 400-450 million euros.

Thus, Nord Stream AG has significantly increased the amount of claims against insurance companies Lloyd's Insurance Company and Arch Insurance, explaining this by the discovery of a dent in one of the sections of the pipeline. The corresponding claim against the insurers has been filed in the High Court of London.

In the updated claim of Nord Stream AG against the insurance company Lloyd's Insurance Company and Arch Insurance, it is stated that experts estimate the cost of restoration work on Nord Stream at 1,2 billion euros.
      So WHO SHOULD RESTORE IT?
If at the same time Nineteen companies from 19 European countries have filed lawsuits against the Russian company Gazprom for 11 billion euros ($18,6 billion) for breach of gas supply contracts due to the explosion of the Nord Stream 20,6 and Nord Stream 1 gas pipelines in the WEST ITSELF.

Moreover, the lion's share of the above-mentioned amount, 13 billion euros, includes a claim from the German concern Uniper, which was the main client of our “gas giant” in Germany and, concurrently, the largest investor in Nord Stream 2. This German company, which previously imported 20 billion cubic meters of gas per year from Russia, not only demanded compensation for losses resulting from the interruption of supplies, but also In June 2024, the Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal GRANTED her claim in full. And for what reason???

As a result of the positive decision of the Washington-affiliated Stockholm Arbitration Court on the claims against Gazprom by Germany against Russia, the remaining companies consuming Russian gas in Europe took as an example for bankrupting Russia the pro-American global raider policy of the West in relation to its Gazprom.
At the same time, as is known, the amount of damage declared by European companies from their failure to receive Russian gas exceeds Gazprom’s annual revenue from gas sales to other markets, including Europe and Turkey ($10 billion), China (7 billion), as well as the CIS countries and Central Asia (2 billion).
Those. the amount of the claim by European countries is $20 billion >> $19 billion in the amount of gas sales by Gazprom!!!

And all this given that it was not Russia that blew up SP-1 and SP-2, but the countries that consume Russian gas themselves, under the auspices of Washington!!!

Otherwise how? You can’t call this STATE RAIDING of the West under the auspices of Washington/NATO against Russia!

The little things in life. The answer to the enemy will be harsh. We will raise taxes, excise duties, fees, chip in the whole world, give it away and stick out our tongues - bite me, damn you.

Nothing unusual. First you are driven into debt, and then you work for your uncle (the EU) for free your whole life. And they write off Russia's blocked assets to pay off the debt for undelivered gas. This is European democracy....

You can forget about them altogether, about these assets, I don't remember the West ever giving anything away, even small things. Look at the English once stole the friezes of the Athenian pantheon from Athens, Greece is an ally, so what, did they give it away? And our Crimean Scythian gold, what went to Holland? Okay, they didn't give it to us, considering it Ukrainian property, but they didn't give it to Ukraine either.
But it’s not the English who are to blame, they’ve always behaved this way, but our woodpeckers, we have the problem, not them.

Can't we send them away? I don't understand at all who else but Gazprom needed to do this, to lay the pipe? Do they want to make some money here and now? Well then where were the lawyers? I am more than sure that we, ordinary users, will pay, which will affect the tariffs, in such moments I very much understand the Bolsheviks who took the Western lawsuit and sent it on a famous journey.

Insurance companies are demanding money from the Ukrainians through recourse, all the blame has been shifted to them.

Yeah, you picked the wrong people. To get money out of Western insurers, you have to be nice to them in the style of the 90s: learning music with a hammer on your fingers, a heating element in your anus, fighting hungry pigs in a pit (English version). wassat They have an excuse - the pipeline was damaged during the fighting. 2 x 100 million $ in one dish and we go our separate ways. Insure yourself in England, gentlemen. There is plenty of material on this topic now, with a layout from both sides.

I completely agree, the idea would be to just abandon it, but Gazprom is a state within a state. Well, if they don't want gas, then don't get it. I'm generally skeptical about the fact that we give away our heat instead of pouring energy into our industry.

Modest guys, considering the general claims of consumers, including Uniper, who filed a claim against the public domain - dirt on the industry for tens of billions of greenbacks.
Insurance companies are not eager to comply with the legal requirements of the operator and the main holder and owner.
There will be a long-term litigation, Miller needs to prepare a lot of pants and all the poor accomplices of the Board need to transfer assets from Cyprus and other Virgin Islands to the Russian Federation jurisdiction as quickly as possible.
