"The enemy is attempting counterattacks": the Ministry of Defense reports battles in the Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts of the Kursk region

The North group of troops continues to conduct offensive operations, inflicting defeats on enemy formations located in the Kursk region. This is stated in the new report of the Ministry of Defense on the situation in this direction.

Information is coming in that battles are continuing for the bridgehead on the bank of the Snagost River, from where our forces are planning to attack Sverdlikovo. The enemy, in turn, tried to counterattack in the direction of Kremyanoye, Lyubimovka and Malaya Loknya.

In the Glushkovsky district, four attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through in the direction of Novy Put and Medvezhye have been repelled. According to unofficial sources, UAV crews are working very powerfully here, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering their main losses from them. The Ministry of Defense confirms the destruction of a German tank Leopard 2 and three Swedish CV-90 IFVs. The enemy is expected to increase pressure in this area in the near future, bringing fresh forces into the battle.
