Ukrainian military allegedly caught two potential arsonists of their own cars in Kyiv
In almost all regions of Ukraine controlled by Kyiv, the number of arson attacks on cars belonging not only to employees of territorial recruitment centers (TRCs/military enlistment offices), but also to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been growing in recent months. With the former, everything is clear. In this way, Ukrainians are actively protesting against the actions of the "man-catchers", who have significantly tightened the increasingly sophisticated and mass forced mobilization into the army after the amendments to the relevant law came into force on May 18.
The military, apparently, suffers either by mistake, or the arsonists do not care at all who owns the car, the main thing is that its owner is associated with the war, which many Ukrainians, to put it mildly, are very tired of.
At first, the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen began to stick stickers on their cars saying "Not TCK". It did not help, the number of night car arsons is only growing. It has reached the point where civilian car owners demand that the military park their cars away from other cars, because the flames often spread to nearby cars.
And now the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen have decided to organize what is called self-defense, or rather, the protection of personal transport. The Ukrainian segment of social networks reports that the military began to keep watch at night near their cars in order to catch arsonists.
This measure seems to have produced its first results. Ukrainian publics write that last night two guys who tried to set fire to a serviceman's car were caught in this way in Kyiv. Moreover, the servicemen who detained the arsonists themselves report this.
According to them, the captured guys will now be sent to the front as "free slaves" so that they understand the value of cars for the military. Then there is a hint that other caught arsonists may face harsher punishment, up to and including murder on the spot "according to the laws of wartime."

The military even published a video of the detained would-be arsonists. The guys are clearly scared, a canister is visible, apparently with gasoline and bottles with rags. In general, knowing the love of Ukrainians for propaganda, the video could be staged - in order to scare others who want to burn the cars of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants.
